I feel like someone just threw the hawk on purpose to go viral and get views 🤔🤔🤔🤔 it’s fishy and also how would you know to put a camera there at that moment? I think it’s FAKE
People don't understand why good eggs are so expensive. It's because they have to be protected from predators of all types, fox, bobcats, birds, snakes. I don't mind paying top dollar for my eggs because I understand why. You can't just let them run loose.
Sometimes I can't understand people like that! Raising chickens is definitely not cheap. But I love them. They keep a smile on my face, and they like to chat!
That would be my husband... the guy who didn't want chickens in the first place. Then the tiny run wasn't big enough, so he built a walk in run around the tiny coop... then he built a bigger coop and expanded the run twice... and put a window inside the coop at ground level so they could look out when it was snowy. Then there was a roof over part of the run... btw, there is an additional exterior run now :)🤣
I like your coop set-up. We've let our chickens free range for over 20 years and I've considered keeping them locked up and your coop gives me a good idea.
Our coop and run has evolved from one of those really small tractor supply coops which was very temporary... my husband built them a run that was 8 x 8 x 8 that was screened in hardware cloth. The coop itself became a repurposed Resin shed that was outside the run... then the run expanded some more... and the external daytime run was added... then we sold the flock... and started over and had to build a new coop! It's a work in progress.
My chicken just had chicks and I brought my dog in to see them and she hit him and I had my mini cat in my hand and she also got aggressive with the cat
Broody hens and new mamas can be very ferocious! They are less aggressive when they know the dog or cat, but they probably think " better safe than sorry" like most moms!!! Good luck with the chicks!
Eagles family of birds are not smart animals. Their behaviour is weird. Today I was close to tear up a bigger hawk bare hand on my balcony that came for the pigeons I was feeding. It escaped but lost lots of feather. They are not fast at all. All they have is sharp and strong claw and beak as they are genetically soulless predators.
THANKYOU FOR MASTERING THE GOD REALM OF COMFORT PEACE AND SECURITY...YOU HAVE SET A STANDARD HOW RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE SHOULD LOVE THEIR PETS..YOUR FLEET OF CHICKS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND I AM SO THANKFUL PEOPLE LIKE YOU OWN THEM...🛡️🛡️🛡️💎
I love how they are very human like, they go inside to get cover and for saftey, like we go under the bunker when there is some kind of a bomb attack. Lol For some reasons, it felt very human like, especially the cool chicken at the end that didn't seem all that affected, too cool to act scared, so she walks gracefully to get to saftey.
@@evawikoff Yeah and u do have some lovely hens but the constant panic that they are experiencing can cause them to have a heart attack. I lost one of mine to a dog who kept rushing at the fence panicking them.
shes calling the babies, she was on lookout and babysitting duty, all the rest of the girls scrambled, she went into attack mode, straight at the hawk neck all poofed up
