I think their dream of $40,000.00 for a house big enough for the family, with outdoor space is just that....a dream. I bought an apartment in Le Marche, in a small village, close to the sea and mountains....perfect! It also had one of the only outdoor garden spaces in the village. The building is 600 years old. We bought the place for EURO 150,000.00 and have put almost EURO 200,000.00 into the renovation. Yes, it's beautiful and we are very happy here. But I think alot of people think they can get alot for less money without having much work to do on the property. Think again......
They are NOT "A COUPLE".🙄They are "the Friends" or "the pair" or "the Ladies". "A Couple" infers a romantic connection which these two don't have. This kind of stuff bugs the bejeesus out of me! 😤

Interesting. Seeing how old people end up dying alone, or living in nursing homes, this is a great way to set up for yourself for productive and vibrant life in old age. Get together with other old people your age whom you totally trust and plan for the future. Identify simple jobs and hobbies you could undertake while at it... This would also be a good opportunity for AirBNB packages.
My dad's side of the family emigrated to the US from Roccascalegna in 1900. I can see why they talked so much of its beauty... and probably why I have mountains in my DNA :)
