This is the part that makes me cry, and makes me sad. Mitchie lying, and being close to tears. So, I really cried hard, and feel sad when I see that scene.
It's not OK to lie about yourself or your Mom's job. Always best to be truthful to yourself and others, but as for Tess she should've minded her own business and Shane should've just let her finish her sentence
Shane reacted exactly like how a spoiled rich kid would react: made it all about himself without considering that he may not have a problem of lying out of shame in order to fit in because he never needed to since he is rich but it's not the case for everyone else.

I love the Camp Rock Movies but this is my LEAST favorite scene from both movies combined, it's just so hard to watch and trying not to cry from how awful Tess Humiliated her in this scene but also why the hell was Shane mad at her, she did nothing to him and he is upset at her for a lie that didn't even involve him But yeah, this is my least favorite scene from Camp Rock.

they'll grow up and realize there's bigger problems to deal with in life, bigger than a harmless girl making up a stupid lie about her mom. Her lie didn't involve anyone else at camp, and it only helped her to get the popular girls attention, big deal lol There's much, MUCH worse things to lie about , i thought shane would know that being such a big superstar lmao atleast she didn't go in as a fraud who uses autotune or some shit 😂 The girl got a little bit of peer pressure and messed up, it happens. She should definitely apologize to her mom because it was wrong to let that pressure make her feel ashamed of her own mothers background. But she doesn't have to apologize to shane, that is, unless HE was in love with her only because he believed the lie she made up. He should have noticed her lie didn't have to do with him at all.
