Glad you liked it and the wisdom he shares in it my G...No unfortunately Dave & Bashy haven't done a track together to my knowledge...Bashy took a hiatus in about 2010 from music to concentrate on his acting career instead...however he has done a track back in the day with Wretch 32 & DaVinChe called "Male Pride" and "Ransom" is another he's done with Wretch 32 & Scorcher..hes also done a track with Kano & Skepta called "Can't See Me Again"... if you remember his Sticky Daily Duppy he talks about a track called "Black Boys" which was his first track he dropped...at the time the media was highlighting the shooting and stabbing happening in the country and that there was a lack of role models in black communities...so Bashy dropped "Black Boys" to remind inner city youths that there was a number of positive role models to inspire them
Ren and his bandmates were so amazing. Sadly Ren is still struggling with debilitating health issues and these guys moved on their separate ways. They could have been huge.
I love this one, though the video always makes me sad. I'm not good with change. You're right, we can't know for sure the reality behind the scenes... but I believe Ren that they're all really that close. At the very least, Romain performed with Ren - as well as having his own set - at Ren's Secret Garden Party and was also the guitarist under the hood for Ren's televised performance of Money Game 2 earlier this month. There was a behind the scenes on Patreon and among other things, we got to see them discussing Romain being prepared to change it up on the fly if Ren messed something up... I can only imagine how comforting it would be to have someone you could trust that much at your back during such an exposed and important performance. Especially since we know now that Ren wasn't doing well that night.

Such a special song...always evokes strong feelings of nostalgia in me. Mad respect to both Ronain and Ren for writing this gem. Loved Romains vocals on the verses and Ren, well he always sprinkles his magic on every song he touches. Appreciate your reaction my friend xx
