Does the builder have a channel ? I’m blessed to have found your page man, I was beginning to feel like the only one who loves the ES and I’ve seen none modified on the road in my area. I’m driving a 2016 ES 300h and plan on modifying real soon !!!!
Its criminal toyota didnt even try something like this again. And their own fault they relegated it into obacurity by not offering stickshift in it stock.
I'm contemplating getting a 2012 Ls 460. I just heard that there's a few problems with them. This is a dream car of mine. I know that I should get the XSE camry for its quality, but dang! I really want this car. I figure that the price of the 2019 camry would be the same as buying the LS and fixing it to run absolutely perfect. It's said that with proper maintenance, the LS engine will run up to 300,000 miles easily. The car is Absolutely beautiful !!!
Not really man, all cars have problems, listen to me, they ALL have problems. Some more then others but if you address the problems the right way, get aftermarket and or upgrade where you can, you tackle the issues and they WONT arise again. Camry XSE, this is gonna sound funny but its a Camry acting like Lexus and its not even the Avalon. Plus they are tiny compared to a regular sized LS460 & the LS460L is a LWB / Long Wheel Base version. Take your time and find yourself a LS460L with the Executive Package & enjoy. Replace the Air Shocks with Mercedes-Benz S-Class Air Shocks and take the brackets off and weld the Lexus brackets on or make new brackets for them, they wont leak or give problems like the Lexus ones. They’re a specific S-Class air shock / Air Strut. People use them on different builds all the time. They run like $400 bucks for a set in mint condition.
If you take any car and eliminate the PCV valve, clean all the Blow-By left by the PCV valve on the entire intake system of the car including the intake ports & eliminate catalytic’s (get a tune to remove CEL) & you’ll get with regular maintenance to a million miles. Miles are just miles most times, the right oil and changing it on time or before time is the key. Maybe you’ll replace some seals and gaskets, thats about it. Theres a reason an executive car like this goes from 2007 - 2017 without being changed.
& hey, it’ll be cheaper to get one of these less then 100K miles on the dash in great conditions. I financed one for $13K, LS460L 2008. Found them in the street for $5K - $10K - $15K.
Consumer reports had the 2012+ with a perfect score in almost every category. These truly are the most reliable cars you can buy. The 600hl even more so. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Idiots were destroying ls400 before.. Now they moved on to ls460 I see.. I wish they were messing with civics and corollas instead of those beautiful Lexus sedans..
@@panda-pdx9578 the damages from constantly scraping the ground and hitting speed bumps causes significant damage in the undercarriage... Plus fender rolled, all suspension parts... They are not even worth fixing at that point..
@@juchou2983 Right but thats only if the car is static. Most of these builds are on adjustable bags/air suspension specifically to keep these luxurious cars from getting damaged. They only lower their suspension when parked/showcasing the car.
