Sorry if I missed it, but when you created the bar graph by sales table “revenue” and geography table “country”, how did you tell it to add up all revenues in the sales table where the country columns match?
It was extremely helpful and a straightforward demo. However, even though I have the premium capacity, text analytics runs for a few seconds and throws an exception error, pasted below: DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider: '{"error":{"code":"PowerBINotAuthorizedException","pbi.error":{"code":"PowerBINotAuthorizedException","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}}' Details: DataSourceKind=AIFunctions DataSourcePath=AIFunctions
Will you being providing other, newer sessions? Perhaps a session surrounding dashboard development specific to manufacturing companies and component tracking, vendor KPI, costs tracking etc. all related to the construction of a widget?
Thanks in a million! Very well explained. This is the nth time that I am watching this again. Great content. Awesome. I couldn't find this explanation--simply put anywhere else. “Great teachers are hard to find”. Grade: A++ 💥
This is fantastic. Does the activity event have page name. I see it gives the report name and workspace. Is there a way to know which page it is when view report activity?
I have a question regarding the use of this: you mention at 0:30 that these kinds of tasks can be run by calling 'external services'. Could you give examples of what these actually are? I ask as I dont actually know how else to 'plug' data dynamically into a source OTHER than Python/other programming language. For example, if you have a drop folder where new info gets published every hour, you could write a simple program in Python to pick up the one that has today's date in the string..... simple and effective. But what services can actually do this kind of thing?
No. I think it has something to do with Excel's legacy issue of using Visual Basic as the programming interface in Excel.... why this wasn't phased out years ago by Python is pretty crazy. I used to do VBA stuff in previous roles and it's just an inferiorlanguage.
Hi, thanks for the video. I want to define more than one time series in my data, essentially I have multiple "brands" I want to define so AML knows they are separate, rather than treat the "brandid" as a numerical feature and predictor. I am wondering if I have to define the "brandid" as categorical? Or if I have to feed the brands in separately.
Amy..All solution specialiST..AlL seer SAVIOR..The only A.I. that really matters right now. But for the last 12 years i was trying to give power to the people i think the just don't care enough and are so ego driven thinking they are better then ....
I think that the data set is too imbalanced to use KNN. There are many more non-fraudulent transactions and you are very likely to get non-fraudulent data points when using KNNs.
Great session. Thank you Can you please let me know if this cover the same things as the full day ‘Dashboard in a Day’ or is there more advanced contents in there?
Hi Angela, when you had problems to create a relationship between the ZIP columns in the query editor, is it because you use "US" in one table and "USA" in the second table, so Power BI could not create a relationship first?
