My dad got a 04 LeSabre with the Series 2 in it & I at least wanna do an aftermarket intake (idk if the ZZP fenderwell intake can fit the NA 3800 series 2), Flowmaster Super 44, maybe 2 glasspack resonators to get rid of the rasp but keep the car loud, hi flow cat, & ZZP coilpacks
@@Jeremy_Hill_2020 yes, as the ZZP product has no protection from the underhood heat. Whereas, the CAI products, all include an insulated underhood box that encompasses the filter cone to allow it to draw in cool air from typically behind the headlight or sometimes the fender. 👍 No heat laden air to starve your engine of power with knock retard.

These cars are very nice when you take good care of them. To be honest, I have mine cammed out and everything yet I dont actually race with it haha. Its just a show car and i LOVE it.
Thank you! Your wife is right when it comes to the older 4.6 & 5.0 "stock" versions. I've taken down quite a few older stock "Stangs" in my "Elise". Most notable was a top down 98 Cobra convertible manual that I inched out from a dig when I was stock. All I remember was the look on this guys face as he sees this four-door with wife & kid in tow pulling on him as he was shifting with extreme enthusiasm. Priceless! 😁
If you take decent care of them by following common sense transmission maintenance, and don't dog on them too much, fairly reliable. Mine has well over 100k miles on the transmission, that I know of. 231K possible miles. I change the fluid & filter every 30K miles with Mobil Dexron VI & GM filter. Don't flush it. Just drop the pan, and replace the fluid & filter. 👍
You should of showed the power plant instead of the tailpipes and bumper. My Grand Prix and Bonneville were my babies. I did detail the engine bay's cuz of my OCD, excessive, I know.
I had it briefly and gave up as it was not ready for prime time. Later I just got a PC for the TV and that was a much better choice in the age of mini pcs. The Nvidia tablet however was great. To bad they didn't release one later on as well.
Nice! I've been to the Holland, South Bend, Grand Rapids area numerous times. In fact, ZZPerformance did my down pipe & dyno tune for me many years back. We live in the tri-cities area now. Oh, I've even taken my GXP to US-131 Speedway for quarter mile runs. 14.08 @ 98 is my best with my big butt & over 200, 000 miles on the odometer. 😁
You know.. As a Car guy you always end up getting surprised by cars. I had no clue they had an LS version of this. Is it the same platform as the Old Impala?
How old of Impala? From the same year, yes it's a W-Body chassis. The GXP version from Pontiac did get quite a few upgrades that were not offered to the Impala or Monte Carlo. Heads up display (HUD), TapShift, FE4 suspension with Bilstein struts, larger brake calipers with drilled rotors. Those are the main ones I can think of. The LS4 was used in a lot of FWD W-body chassis at the end of GM's offering for that body. Grand Prix GXP, Impala & Monte Carlo SS versions, and the Buick LaCrosse Super. 😯

If you can afford it, go with the SB16-Ultra. Bigger amp, bigger driver, and it digs about 3hz lower than the SB-4000. This all shows, especially if you're going to do anything besides pure music listening. 👍
Thank you for the comment. It's actually dark slate metallic. It's a 2008, the only year they offered that color, and the last year of production. So I kind of have a unicorn. Only 2,200 made in my color, on top of that I'm running 2005/2006 Alcoas, which makes mine even more unique. 😊
@@krayzietj 😂 true, but at the track it's held up fairly well. The tune & shift kit has definitely helped with longevity. Plus, I regularly change the transmission fluid & filter as part of regular maintenance. Mobil Dexron VI pumping through her veins. 😜
I also never forget when our city hall caugh fire the fire wanset that bad it was the water from the sprinklers I rember I went by city hall night before heard the beatful clock tower chime then next day I got a call saying city hall caugh fire today went by there the click was stoped at 1 pm the time the power was shut off and I rember at night the clock tower dinit light slip and no chimes so Erie the clock was stoped for a year and it took I think 3 years to reopen
We lost power from 11 pm until 3 am I rember I went to bed at 10 and when our power went out the co alarm beeped because it ran off power I rember it woke me up it flickered 3 times then that was it that was a crazy night we live by a power company so we don’t have long outages thank god the longest outage was april 6 a wind storm in 2017 April 6 knocked power out from 10 am unti 730 pm
I rember this storm I was 15 years old it rained the wind was super crazy and I rember at 11 pm our power went out from 11 and came back on at 3 am plus before the power went out we lost our cable to crazy night
