Hi! How do you consume the supplement for the cat? sprinkle on their food? Can I reuse the needle which was injected with the medication? Or I can use the alcohol swab on the needle before injection onto the cat?
We scrambled to start our cat on GS injections using people from the FIP Warriors network to get us going, and then a Warriors admin sent us more vials. I'm sad to say our cat passed suddenly on his sixth day of shots, within a few hours of injecting into the "R3" site on his back. We started with Rose brand given to us by a person in the Warriors network who had some leftover after successfully treating their cat. Then we switched to a vial of Azul brand also gifted to us by someone within the network. Each shot we gave him seemed to help, with increased breathing and heart rate always being an immediate side effect before he would recover with slightly increased mobility and reduced inflammation in his torso. Unfortunately those side effects seemed greatly increased when giving an injection from a fresh vial of Rose brand serum we received after ordering from our FIP Warriors admin. His rear right leg became wobbly and he just seemed to go limp and crashed. My girlfriend and I took his treatment very seriously in the two weeks building up to his death. He had lost the ability to eat or drink on his own and we were feeding him by hand with a 10ml children's oral syringe. He was getting CBD drops, catnip tea with Reishi, chicken protein shake, and homemade electrolyte mix with salt and baking soda added to keep him hydrated. His appetite appeared to be increasing by the last day and he went from not being able to lay down at all from the pain in his abdomen to being able to lay and sleep. We checked eachothers' work and used good practice with the needles - used alcohol wipes, correct dose for his weight, and aspirated each time to avoid drawing blood or air bubbles. Not only is our beloved friend gone, but we now live with questions of what exactly happened. It was very sad for us and I would personally recommend to anyone thinking about attempting GS injections to be careful and temper your expectations. We're not sure if we got a poorly formulated vial of GS or if his system was just too weak to receive the anti-virals at all. If we could do it all over again... I would first look out for FIP conditions as soon as possible, considering our cat was originally misdiagnosed by our vet with a stomach virus. I would also consider a different treatment path than FIP Warriors - possibly NHV's oral herbal medicine for FIP that comes in two bottles, or a GS treatment protocol from a direct-from-China supplier like Mutian. It seems all the vials being sent in the FIP Warriors network are from China anyway and disguised as bottles of "facial serum" or some bath product to fool customs. Good luck to anyone dealing with this terrible disease, especially if you're deciding on going with treatment to beat it!
When i found out my cat has FIP last 3 years.. it was really devastating but thankfully they are few GS441524 in the market here ☺️ I used BasmiFip and it really helps my cat!
Not helpful at all if your cat is a fighter. I mean it's a great method if you want to give injections to a toy duck, but doesn't work with resisting animals
I was thinking of getting this second hand (it was something like €190). Do you think it's worth it? I wanted to use it with clip studio paint to work at my first webtoon.
Can anyone please share if there cat has survived fip and how they are doing now? ❤ I’m on day 16 of injections for my cat and this stress is not fun whatsoever
My cat was on death's door, but he is now thriving and healthy. We went through the 84 days of treatment and 84 days of observation. It's been a few months now that he has officially been cured, and I couldn't be happier
Thanks so much for your advice about changing the needle after drawing the GS…never thought of that. My cat screams in pain and struggles to get away even with 3 people holding her down and scruffing her. It’s been so emotional for me; I’m considering getting a vet to inject her as it is such a struggle… 😢
Hello. My cat is the same way. I'm going to have to switch to pills I think because it is so stressful for everyone trying to inject him. I hope your cat is healthy now.
@@patrickcunningham2567 So sorry to hear but yes, I don’t know how people are so tough. I’m such an emotional wreck when any of my cats (I have two others) are in distress or pain. I was actually advised to get a second opinion from another vet that was highly experienced in FIP cases as this cat wasn’t displaying any FIP-related symptoms except diarrhoea, and the second vet said her blood work was inconclusive for FIP even though she was positive for coronavirus. So we decided to stop the injections and monitor. She ended up being fine and not needing the medication at all! She was a stray so I didn’t know her health history; maybe she was just malnourished. She’s since been adopted by my neighbour and is now a happy, healthy, chonky kitty… ☺️ I hope your cat is better now… 🙏🏼
Guys, please help! Today our vet said the medicine is no longer available. My cat has only received half of the required GS-441524 injections. I don't even know what to do now. Please, please share information on where to buy GS-441524. I am from Latvia, so it would be good if the medicine could be bought in Europe or if it could be delivered to Europe. 🙏🙏🙏
hi. I also availed Huawei mate pad 11 yesterday. Is procreate accessible in this brand? I do have the ap installed but I thinks it's different I can't use it
Hi.. i have a question about proboost.. Another FIP group recommended moducare to me, can I give it together with proboost or just choose one? I was also recommended to give my FIP cat probiotics supplement. Thank you
This is so sweet! "I have anxiety . . . " (but I'm doing it anyway because people might need to know this information.) "Say `hello' to my duck." (Your duck is better about getting shots than my cat.)
hello i just found your video because my cat has FIP she was diagnosed yesterday and started the treatment as well. i don’t have an idea on how much it will cost because there is someone helps me with the medication yesterday. now as i am watching your video i found out that it will be a long period treatment and i can’t imagine if i can manage to handle the long way of treatment. if there is someone go through this situation how much do i need to be ready for everyday treatment?
Thank you for this very helpful video. Did you use anything in addition to the GS shots? We were advised to add prednisolone for the first week or two, but we are reluctant to put anything more into our Izzy's system. She is doing really well 5 days into her shots. Thank you again.
You have to wean off prednisolone slowly! It is highly advisable to use proboost (amazon) along with GS, it really makes a difference in boosting their immune system!
Love from a winner here, Tigger had Fip in 2021. I used shorter needles for the Injektion. With the long ones the needle goes through the cat and out on the other side too easily. 0.8x16 mm is way easier to handle
We are on day 45 of our injections and my cat will occasionally whimper or cry when I pet him in certain spots. Is this normal? Should I be worried it’s something I’m doing wrong while injecting him?
Hey everyone! I was doing some research last night after my kitten was diagnosed & there were a few testimonies of people who gave their kitties colloidal silver drops in their food and it helped alot! One of them said it has been 5 years now for his cat. Just fyi! I started doing that immediately last night, I already had some on hand. (Use the one without salt) Good luck everyone 💕
My kitten was just diagnosed with wet fip a few hours ago...can anyone tell me the place to find this treatment in USA? I found a website but my friend who works for a vet said it's probably a scam... 😢 I know I need to act fast..any advice is appreciated 🙏 this video gave me some hope..
@@stephraphaela thank you! I know someone who is a vet tech and she told me the same. I joined right away and got some help! It turns out there was someone only 15 mins away who had the treatment!! She gave my kitty his first shot last night. She runs a rescue, & has 2 cats she has treated that survived!! One of them was already having seizures and had almost died, but he's ok now!
FIP is an immune mediated disease. Hence boosting the immune system is not recommended. Boosting the immune system will cause quick replication of FIPV. But @11:36 she suggested the supplement for immune system improvement. Avoid usage of immune boosters and make sure the supplement does not contain ingredients like Lysine. L-lysine, an ingredient that is often used in immune boosting, is also not recommended.
Thanks for the video. We have a 10 month old. We did first inj last night around 5pm, he screamed when needle poked him, he was fine in a minute or so. Slept for 3 hrs and woke up, ate 2 churu’s, much more energy. Then next morning, ate 4 tuna churus drank a lot of water, played/wrestled with the other cat, like completely back to normal. Well almost. Just one injection. Is this possible? Very surprised about how quick the reaction was. Gave dosage as prescribed by admin. Maybe he didn’t have severe FIP? Can anyone comment? Second injection tonight.
My cat went back to his "pre-FIP" play and eating routine after about 2 days, with increasing appetite and energy the following days after. So I'd say what you're experiencing isn't out of the norm. Good luck to us both :)
Any recommendation of person to do the injection for pet owner on a free lance basis in Singapore, we tried 2 times on our cat, he screamed and bite, probably in pain from our 1st try. We are afraid to do it on him,
