Not WF, or even first with this particular strat 😅 Queenswalk may be one of the most broken low man/solo encounters from what I’ve seen. Bungie always patches it then people find a ridiculous way to absolutely dismantle it again
It should still work, yes. My friend cleared with it last night. I heard the timing is just a little weird, have to make sure you immediately slam the lance. I haven’t actually tried tho so that’s about all I know lmao. gl with whichever you choose!
Assuming that a warlock super lets you cancel prismatic, it should be similar to hunter strat. likely a mtntop launch for vault though, similar to what Acclyde did in his post-patch clear. no grapple would make setting spawn sooo much more annoying. Setting spawn would be much harder, vault skip goes from completely free to pretty difficult, but launches will be slightly easier cause warlock jump is goated. MUCH harder overall so I see why nobody’s hunting it
I’d highly recommended the titan diamond lance strat over the hunter launches If ur determined to clear on hunter, try to bring the heart as close as possible to Acclyde’s blue pillar spot and imitating his launch, with my launch or another hail mary as desperation if you can’t bring the heart all the way to the pillar. Acclyde’s launch will be much more consistent but his spot is harder to get to in time. Center yourself on the mtntop shots as much as possible and don’t jump, let mtntop do the work. You have a decent amount of extra time by the time u get to vault, so your launch doesn’t have to be perfect, just good enough to clear the lake and land somewhat close to the door out. hope that helps, gl 🙏
yes, activating transcend drops the heart. you can also use your super immediately after transcending to keep ur transcend charge, giving you two total drops per person
the ad trigger that spawns the first half of the enemies is in Riven’s throat. by launching the heart up the throat and respawning near the mouth I never actually cross that trigger while alive, so the first set of ads don’t spawn
Congrats! Glad to see it actually ended up working out! I still don't understand the spawn manipulation at the beginning, which makes it that much more impressive to me honestly.
Basically hes setting the respawn point after death up on her tongue so when he respawns he can set up the mountaintops to launch him further through the route set the rest of the run can work out timing-wise Edit: also yeah it triggers the enemy spawns in the first couple parts so they don't activate when the run starts
There is an ad trigger on the way up that ramp out of the throat, so setting spawn after the trigger and launching the heart up to your new spawn you can skip the trigger, causing no ads to spawn until vault. It also happens to be the perfect spot to set up the first launch so that helps. Supposedly it only takes 12 steps to set a new spawn, so you want to touch the ground as little as possible when near the heart, so grapple helps with that. Running back and forth is likely irrelevant once you've taken your 12 steps near the desired spawn, but I found better results from running around so I do it to kill time waiting for grapple to come back. The dodges are only cause I have triple bomber mods on my class item, so I can get grapple back faster. Dodges are not required, it just saves some time.
