both of your so called close passes happened when you floated out into the road, i'm sure you must be aware of the type of road you're on, so be a bit more aware of other road users. Oddly you seem ok to pass alongside the second car within inches of him when you both are stopping at the crossing, that's the point where you commit the cardinal sin of "mgif".
