I think this was one of Schwarkopf's later recordings and benefits from a lifetime's experience of the cycle. Whether folks appreciate her voice or not , she is never a 'faceless' singer and her singing is always committed. It reflects her personality responding to the words and music. If only there was a video of this cycle where we could enjoy her physical presence which would add so much.

이 곡의; 원전악기 연주들은 대부분 실내악 수준으로 흐르는데, 이 연주는 드라마틱하고 웅장하며 질풍노도의 뉘앙스를 모두 잘 살리고 있다

The style and Sound is almost identical to the Menuhin recording of 1934, or is it rather vice versa?

This concert sounds like turning 35 years to me. There’s the quiet tragedy of the final fact of growing up, reaching the middle of life, and at the same time desire for hope, because somehow one needs to live on (as mothers and grandmothers and all the other people on the planet did) and learn to enjoy not only pleasures of being young. I’m writing here because there’s no one else and nowhere else I can say this.

Only an idiot would say 35 is the middle of life thereby condemning yourself to die at 70 like a bitch ass nigga. People have such retarded ideas about aging. There are 26 year olds out there in vastly worse shape than me in every sense, are they healthier? Are they going to live longer? Doubtful. What age does seem to do is separate the winners from the losers, you lose that bounce back ability so the foolish ways you lived as a youth don’t always work anymore, they just make you worse. So it makes you either step up and gain mastery over your life and health or don’t. There is no good reason to assume you’re going to hit 70 and croak. If you think that way iti will actually influence how your body ages because of that self belief. If you think that next Tuesday you’re going to meet the hottest girl on the planet your body will subtly try to prepare itself for meeting and impressing her. So what if you carry an idea through life that you’ll die at 70? It will die at 70. This is also why if you get tested positive for cancer, doctors should really never be allowed to tell the patient. It’s too shocking for most people especially fools who believe doctors are holy know it alls, hearing they have cancer practically seals the deal of their death even if the charts got mixed up and their health is fine! Do you know there are cases like that? Charts got mixed up, so and so told he has a month left to live, literally goes and dies to the day a moth later, then they find out after he was perfectly fine, the chart was th wrong guy! What does that say about our beliefs? They really have a strong influence. If you don’t believe you can die, maybe you won’t. Suppose you decapitate me, but I have a belief I can carry on by carrying my head under my arm, maybe I can find a way to make it work. THe pout is that you will be stronger and more vital the more you believe yourself to be capable of it, and being weak and feeble minded about it willl make you safe but in a withering away rapidly sort of way. I don’t even like life but while I’m here I’m gonna thrive in whatever selfish way I have to cus fuck everybody I’m here bitches and I’m not going nowhere yet. Imagine if Bach or Haydn died at age 30-35 like Mozart, Schubert. They are bitch ass niggas. Bach would literally call them bitch ass niggas. Haydn would be like ahh Mozart ‘twas a good pupil but alas! A bitch ass nigga, died from some silly flea or whatever!
