Most of my videos seek to highlight my authentic, Bible-based Christian convictions. In an era of unparalleled confusion, I believe the world needs such a message. Some videos touch on the historical and political implications of this message. Even I need some relaxation from the tensions of our times, so I share my 'trains and planes' videos as wholesome, cultural 'side shows'.

Peoples trust has slowly evaporated over the years social media hasn’t helped at all it’s made it worse. Including greed abortion and some other things were apparently not allowed to mention. I visited the church up the road the doors were locked I’m hopeful they will open one day
God's punishments (Deuteronomy 28). Why are they so cruel and barbaric and if the word of God applies equally today as in the time it was written, do Christians today believe in curses of boils, sores and incurable diseases and the abduction and rape of women who are betrothed to punish their intended ? I do believe we need a change of direction in our society, away from sin but there are parts of the Bible I am stuck on.
Thank you for your question. First, in no way should God's punishments on disobedience be dismissed as 'cruel and barbaric'. Severe as they were at that time in Israel's history, they challenge our low view of sin. That's what should upset us in our easy-going culture. If they had been obedient, the punishments would not apply. Second, the three-part Mosaic legislative order was moral, ceremonial and civil. In the New Testament era, only the moral still applies. The other aspects were temporary and have been abrogated. I hope that's helpful. God bless you.

Really enjoyed listening to this. One of the falls of spiritually probably came about when we stopped following the lunar calendar in favour of the sun calendar thanks to the Roman empire, I think. 🙏Amen.

I was a schoolteacher for thirty years (now retired) and in my last job as Humanities Co-ordinator in a special educational needs school, I remember that in the National Curriculum for Humanities there was a section called 'Great Britons'. It included figures such as Mary Seacole, Florence Nightingale, John Wesley and even John Lennon and it gave teachers scope to teach about the lives and works of figures from British History. I don't know if that is still included in the NC but I always thought of it as good for promoting patriotic ideas (good news about British Hstory).
@@alanclifford1337 as far as I know this is still part of the key stage 1 curriculum. A study of "Significant Individuals" in British history who made a difference for one reason or another. I was teaching older pupils but owing to their special educational needs they were learning at key stage one which is the initial phase of primary education.

I am just reading Sword and Scimitar:Fourteen centuries of war between Islam and the west by Raymond Ibrahim and strangely one of the things I've found most striking and that is playing on my mind is the utter destruction the muslim armies did, taking towns and cities and lands full of vineyards and fruit trees snd fertile farming land and just burning it all to desert land, and that's to say nothing of the mass slaughter and enslavement of Christians. Just utter destruction and waste....the Wesley Islam hymn refers to this exact thing so I guess this must have been well known in the past.
We have a wonderful history of our Country against slavery,and so much more, our Christian faith, values, freedom, freedom of speech, culture and so much more, yes our children must be taught correctly of our heritage,and full history through the ages, not woke rubbish, and stop brainwashing our young. Our Country will always be a Christian faith, our lord Jesus and our Heavenly Father following his teachings will never allow our Country and faith be destroyed by by the darkness which has been forced onto us, We will always protect our Country ,children, against harm, and be educated in our faith and culture, they have so much studies,to do, must be re - established, for them to understand,why so many gave their lives for our Christian values,and Country, in wars.our faith is very strong ,and always will be. Free of darkness, our lord will return this darkforce to where it came from. And our saviour will sort the rest of the problems with our British,religion and the worlds faith of Christianity.
