Hi friends, I'm Sarah! I started my blog (shescraftyandsheknowsit.com) as a place to share all of the easy crafts that I create. I make videos for some of my crafts but not all of them, so if you want to see all of my crafts definitely head over to the blog! My hope is that my blog is an oasis away from the craziness of life, and that by seeing some of the crafts that I make you'll be inspired to make some crafts on your own.
What a wonderful instructional video! Thank you so much for sharing. I do have a question. I've made three so far and all of the exterior weaving runs horizontally. However, the interior runs vertically. If I wanted, would there be any reason not to turn it inside out to have the vertical on the exterior? Thank you! Valerie
Yes you can definitely turn it inside out if you like the look of that side better! That’s a great question! It would be super cute to have some of both - I love that idea!
I watched your other tutorials and I will say that I’ve done a lot with just the name I had always wanted to do two strands but I could never in a million years find a video where they were using wires or tools (I’m a slow learner and very much a beginner and I wasn’t ready to invest in that yet), thanks for sharing a video that fits my learning curve and something I can handle. I may watch a couple of times but I do get it. So thank you.
This is such a cute idea! Thank you for sharing this. Are you able to feed the charms with smaller circles through the fish hook part of the hook instead of the part with the ball on it? Like taking the long route to the dip you'll clamp shut?
GIRL! This NEVER even crossed my mind, but of course you can! 🤦🏼♀️ I'm sitting over here laughing out loud wondering why I never even thought of that. Thank you! 😂
@@ShesCraftyandSheKnowsIt lol you're welcome. I just figured it bent weird and that's why you hadn't done it. I can't wait to try this! Earrings are something I've always been nervous about trying. Thanks again!
You’re welcome! I have a couple of other earring tutorials that I posted recently (that are also super easy) that you might like. Earrings always seem so intimidating but there are so many easy ways to make super cute earrings! And thanks again for your comment! ❤️
Love your video! I just have a question. I purchased some 7mm letter beads to make names for some bookmarks. The holes are so small. I purchased a .30mm nylon clear cord that fit the holes but I don't love. I would rather use the nylon cord like you have. What size cord would be comparable to the .30mm nylon cord if you know. I get confused at .mm.
Sorry I just found your comment. I think something like this might work - amzn.to/3W7b69V I'm struggling to find it being sold individually versus these big packages with multiple colors. But it says it's .3mm and has a white that looks more like the cording I used. Hope this helps!
This was an amazing video, thank you. I checked out the link that you provided but I didn't see the link for the exact red craft paper you used. Where did you get that particular paper please? It looks red/orange?
I’m so sorry but unfortunately that particular paper is from a paper pad I bought 15 years ago to make my wedding invitations. I do remember that the brand was K&Company though, but I couldn’t find the paper online since it’s been so long. Sorry!
I am having trouble getting my adhesive sticker dots to stick to my wax seal. I apply the sticker, but it doesn’t adhere to the seal. What can I do to fix it?
My keychain came out so cute thanks to your video!! ❤ I only wish I could find those exact letter beads because the ones I have have such small holes for the cording but it still looks very cute
I needed this because I can save on wasting string now that I know the measurement method and I love that you shared links because those are so cute! ❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are amazing! I must have put my year planner for 2024 back together again no less than 10 times and it's only May. I can't wait to try this! ❤
