Hi Jim, glad to see you look so well and still have the chops!!! Nice solo. I wonder if that is the same trumpet you lent to Chet Baker when he came to NYC to play at the short lived Jazz club The Whippoorwill in the mid-eighties, without a horn.
Hey Doctor Fred ! Thanks for the compliment. I lent Chet several different horns throughout the years , the one he did best with was a Yamaha that appears to be a copy of a Martin Committee model. This is what he used at The Whippoorwill. As a matter of fact it’s the horn he used at the beginning of Bruce Weber’s classic Chet documentary from 1987, “Let’s Get Lost “ . I still have this horn and it plays great. But the horn in this video is a Bach Stradivarius which is still my main horn. I bought it new in 1981 . An old reliable work horse.
