That spanky single coil Djenty sound definitely came from Tosin, but the 'traditional' low gain high mid Djenty sound was popularised by Periphery.

Very cool concepts, Browne and Clay have definitely been changing the game. That Hydra looks awesome, stoked to get another headless again in the near future they are so comfortable especially in long practice sessions. Cheers!

This isn't "legato" which can be done with just the fretboard hand. This is called "hybrid picking". Notice the fingers and pick alternating on the picking hand.

I think the main thing that tips me over is 12 keys: learn the major scale and all it's permutations in all 12. then work on all the other scales/modes...etc. I swear, just learning the CM scale in all it's permutations seems to be taking me a lifetime. at least I'm having fun working on it.

I hear you man. I am rowing on the same seas. I decided after a few months on CM, to move over to AM, and now I have been here for about 3 months. The thing that currently works with my learning curves, and again riding the waves, is thinking about the interval game and working through chords based on notes they share. My ultimate goal is to be completely fluid on both guitar and piano. We gotta respect the Journey. I pray you reach and exceed expectations that you placed upon yourself. Rock On
@bradenrigling7745
@bradenrigling7745 8 дней назад
I feel like it helps me a lot to identify in any given key, which chromatic intervalz are the 9th and 12th frets. At least since I am very comfortable with modes, that method helps me anchor my key centers. Like I play in B and G# a lot, so I'm familiar with E as the 11th and b6th respectively

First you say this is the only legato lesson people need, then you tell us to use it as a “general” guideline… And that, even though something might work for another person giving a different legato tutorial, really: your tutorial is the only one that anyone will ever need, ever. What kind of self-absorbed nitwit would post something like this not thinking that he would get pushback for his guitar narcissism.? hurry up and get humble, kiddo, you’ll need that if you wanna move forward
