the crane is a static MTH but I convert them and they work with their own battery and they communicate with a radio controller with joysticks so they are easier to control than Lionel cranes. This is a product that we make in our Mini Train Tech workshop.

I use the original speakers on my lionel and MTH locomotives and I use the Visaton speakers on the G scale locomotives. Awesome. Do they have to be 8 ohm? The ones in my mth locos are only 4 ohm. Not sure if that makes a difference?
