So I bought an ultra 9 when I got my 22-250 but since have picked up an AR15 that I intend to also use it on. Have you tried the ultra 9 with 5.56 or .223? If so how was it?
It’s not bad at all. Great sound suppression. There are definitely better options for gas guns. But it works! And works well. We have been planning to make a gas gun comparison too, life just keeps getting in the way. Soon though
@@10fifty6precision never saw you replied to my comment until going through my emails but am going to follow up anyways haha. I used the ultra 9 on my AR for about 120ish rounds and am getting a huxwrx at some point in the near future. I'm happy with how quiet the ultra 9 is but if you shoot a 30 round magazine, the bolt carrier group looks like you just shot 150 rounds through it and I have to clean it VERY often. I'm sure that's not a surprise to you haha. At the time of my original comment I was (still am) very new to guns and the hunting world so that was a learning experience to say the least lol. Gonna save the thunder beast for my bolt actions.
@@brantleyanderson3427 I’ve got an AB suppressor that is supposed to be flow through. It’s not quite as bad as a regular can but I know what you mean about it being filthy. Huxwrx is the way for gas guns 100%
@@10fifty6precisionjust pulled the trigger (pun intended) on a 762 ti today. Doing paperwork next week and with the turn around times right now I’m hoping to get it by next weekend. I’m pretty stoked haha
So which one(s) did you prefer over all? I’m looking for my first one for my r700-308, Looking for recoil redux and more importantly sound redux. Thanks I watched the whole vid but kid subbed. Great video
man, you can’t go wrong with Thunder beast, probably the most robust of the lot. The diligent defense cans are excellent performers. I was honestly surprised and impressed with Q as they were toward the bottom price wise but performed well. I would say the Enticer L will do everything you want at a middle of the road price. You definitely want a bigger can if sound and flash signature is your most important category.
Why would someone even come up with that? These are demo cans, that anyone could try out to see what they prefer. Quite the opposite of your comment, money spent to please customers. Not some shady nonsense like shooting customer cans.
Man, I’d kill for a 6 ARC barrel for my mini fix. I am in the process of getting a barrel spun up for it in a wildcat caliber though. I should have the only minifix in existence chambered in 6mm Mongoose. Great cartridge for 6mm bullets of 80gr or lower, though it can’t shoot the long high BC 6mm bullets like the 6 ARC can.
I’m honestly not sure. The inner liner is the Kevlar type material and the outer is the insulation. Kind of work together. You could also check out the armageddon gear ones, I’ve got a couple of those that are solid and more cost effective
@@10fifty6precision I’m really just wanting a cover for protection. I will use mine for hunting. At the range I only shoot about 5 rounds then let the rifle cool anyway
Myself and some Q Reps talked about this idea last year at Cancon, idk if they ever gave it anymore thought but was something they were considering. I myself thank it’s a good idea and one they should pursue. Love my ARC’s I should also add myself and LMT reps also talked about a Specwar 6 ARC. Would have been cool if Joe and the boys making it.
