Welcome to Adventure Caravaners. I am Nigel and I want to share with you all my caravanning experiences.
Whether you're new to caravanning or experienced I have been caravanning for over 15 years, I want everyone to join me in sharing my tips, advice, trips, vlogs, security, and products reviews, plus memories.
I purchased our first caravan in 2004, I think starting into the caravan world was down to visiting static caravan for over 40 years. The other reason I purchased our 1st tourer caravan was to take the children all over the UK making memories.
I absolutely love the caravan lifestyle. The below caravan is now my fourth tourer caravan. The caravan was purchased new in 2019, so I was looking forward to making many more memories without the children, but they are now adults. Please leave a comment, below and I will try and reply as soon as possible. I hope you join me along the way .
You gave me the answer I was hoping to hear. I just bought a 2018 BMW X1 s drive and searching for a suitable caravan. Now I know that I shouldn`t get a 7 metre one. They`re usually heavier than 1600kg. Thanks for the info.
Hi Nigel could you please explain how the bedroom tv is getting the feed from the free sat box in the living area ? Is it using Wi-Fi like sky multi room or is it connected with a sat cable Im after this set up I’ve even got the same caravan as you but 2020 please help it’s driving me mad how your doing it 😂
Great review. Would be good to note it has preset function where in your demo you dont have to hold trigger when inflating. You can do hands free as it has the lock on/off button where you can sit back while it inflates automatically and stops when it reaches psi set
Hi Nigel, Stumbled upon your channel today and having watched some of your videos, I really enjoyed the. Somewhat late, but I hope that you and your family are well and wish you all the best.
Can’t beat a Bmw mate nice Motor that although an auto with the zf box is way quicker than manual the shifts are lightning quick and for towing that’s a must and takes a lot of the hill issues away.. also your caravan is beautiful nice set outfit enjoy
Hi Ben. Unladen weight on the caravan is 1485 kg, Max weight is 1645kg. The vehicle was doing with the caravan attached was about 30/34 miles per gallon. Thanks very much for watching Ben 👍👍
Couple of questions, I currently use submersible pump in an aqua roll (no onboard pump in my van) presumably the mains water pressure makes my pump redundant? And secondly, how would you sterilise the interior of the 15mtr hose?
I heard Nigel is currently training to become the latest youtube boxer, he is looking to embarrass the Gypsy King and strip him of his titles on May 9th Wembley Arena - £19 a head, £20 if you have 2.
Hi Nigel This is my first time watching you and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I am picking up my new van on Saturday and it uses this system. I was told that if you use this type of setup instead of turning the water off at the mains just turn off the pump inside the van.
Thanks Nigel for your video, just bought a new tow car with the same tow bar fitted, the previous owner had never taken it off, so I had a bit of a struggle getting it disengaged but with a few sprays of WD40 and a few taps with a rubber mallet off it came, cleaned it up and now works perfect every time, very happy with this make of tow bar, and I’ve just subscribed to your channel Nigel, 👍. Can’t understand why you would pay for a detachable tow bar but never detach it 🤔.
Morning Buster. I totally agree with you. Why would you install a detachable tow bar and leave it permanently attached. Thanks very much for subscribing to my channel and watching it. 👍👍
@@AdventureCaravanners one question for you Nigel, not towed caravan yet because only had new tow car for two days, but we’re do you attach your brake away cable ?, 👍.
@@AdventureCaravanners Thank very much Nigel, some people say clip it to the bracket with the 13 pin plug socket on it but that’s not strong enough for my liking, it would bend it or even rip it off, I am going your way, thanks again 👍.
Thanks for the demmo. I have heard that on some cars the towbar cannot be retro fitted if the wiring wasn't installed at tine of manufacture. I'm guessing this wasn't the case here.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it. I was looking into buying one so very useful, is the Truma one better than the whale? Thanks - Also subscribed
Hi Nigel How’s the chance of caravanning going? Hope you get back sometime in the near future. Hope you are well and like us have dodged the Covid-19 bug! We are at Eye Kettleby and we definitely should invest in a fridge cover. Very best wishes to you and your family. Stephen and Sharon Fox 👍🏾👍🏼
Yes, but can you tell me whatthe actual problem was, what component(s) caused the knocking noise, on what component(s) did you apply the lubricant. Thanks.
Great video Nigel just one thing I'm new to caravaning having just bought my first caravan can you do a video on putting all your stuff away in the caravan ready for your journey to your service pitch/site . I've got all these lockers and places to put stuff , gas stuff, aerial stuff, water stuff, levelling stuff etc so confusing please help Nigel . Love your videos bro.
Very good review Nigel, simply explained and a first class video. I have just bought an X1 MSport and you have just shown me my new tow bar, Many thanks, Chris.
Hi Nigel. Hope you are well. Just wanted to thank you for your videos. My wife and I have started our own channel Fox 's Caravanning and hope to see you back to making videos in the near future, We especially like to see another black person caravanning as My wife is black and we only started caravanning 2 years ago. And haven't met any other black caravaners yet. Best wishes and take care. Stephen
Hi Stephen, Thank you for the lovely words. I have been caravanning for about 14/15 years all over England/Wales and have never seen another black person or any other ethnic minority caravanning. I will be coming back to the channel and caravanning very soon. I will subscribe to your channel. Good luck with the videos, Take care pal. 👍👍
Hi Nigel🙋🏻♀️... so sorry you closing temporarily.... was looking forward to chats and trips advic ect.... Hopefully you won’t be away too long.... best wishes👍🏻❤️🌟
Thanks mate. Went to Halfords and bought a tin for 4 quid. Sprayed all 4 movers. Can’t thank you enough. Ours is the Sprite Super QuattroFB 2018. Now totally quiet. Legend mate!!!
Just found your channel. Bron-y-wendon is my favourite site we have just come back from their. Hurn Lane club site in Burn-on-sea is another. 😎 Alison and keith
The C&MC main Welsh sites in most of Wales are heavily booked for months ahead (as of April 2021), so these are useful alternatives, thank you. It will be great to hear how you get on with the sites you've not yet visited! I can recommend Min-y-Don in Harlech, Riverside in Betws-y-Coed and Llanberis Touring Park for you to try as well, but these are also heavily booked at present...
