The Fireground Audio Archive shares fire audio from around the United States in an attempt to showcase different departments and educate the public on what firefighting operations include. This channel is run in conjunction with 911 ERV - Emergency Response Visuals.
Here is a summary of the incident based on the search results: On July 20, 2021, a Boston police officer was responding to a call about a person with a gun in East Boston when their cruiser crashed into a building. [1] The officer was hospitalized, but their injuries were not life-threatening. [1] In a separate incident that same day, a Boston police officer was responding to a call about an armed suspect on Massachusetts Avenue in Dorchester when their cruiser crashed into another vehicle and then hit the back of a parked tractor-trailer. [2][3] The officer and three civilians in the other vehicle were all injured and taken to the hospital, though their injuries were also not believed to be life-threatening. [2][3] It turned out that the original call about the armed suspect was actually about an emotionally disturbed person with a pellet gun, not a real firearm. [2][3]
I grew up listening to fire channel.Good old Alice was so good, always maintaining control of all her guys.God bless engine 14,16, and 4 .Mpls.was so cool back then .God bless Northside squad 440 .hey I love the past past
Engine 9 charges line in 2 minutes from receiving initial voice announcement of box 6145. Outstanding response engine 9. Try finding that record in RU-vid fire videos BFD is tops
@@chiefeng4451 could be, but I lived in East Boston for many years right next-door to engine company 40 and and road with them to many many fires so this is a very close figure. The average response time was three minutes or under once the box came in, and they had water within a minute or two. Very impressive compared to what you see out there.
Yes, very professional command structure on a major incident. However after list to both audios I don't think anyone mentioned the sprinkler system? Was it operational? Was it boosted at the exterior riser with an engine? ??? I would also like to know why the third alarm only got 2 engines and a support truck. With auto/.mutual aid being extremely common these days I would offer a suggestion you could banter about maybe at the end of a drill: if calling for additional alarms that means the fire is moving faster then you. Consider this; Request a specific amount of resources that exceed what you need now as response times increase due to distance and equally so, the fire itself keeps pulling ahead of you. Try this for a table drill/debate. Dispatch Command 3 , I want 6 additional engines and 3 trucks or 7 engines and 2 trucks. Knowing you have a specific number of resources that should exceed what you currently need is an insurance policy that may prove extremely valuable, you can always key the mic and turn them around. Calling additional alarms is always chasing the issue. Push that button once and get everybody heading in that direction. What say you?
So there was just another fire like this in the city last night a few blocks down. Fire on the 2nd floor of a 12 story residential apartment building. Multiple rescues, multiple people entrapped, 19 patients transported.
Nature of the beast in Lawrence. Lots of close homes 3 story's and higher. Fire can spead quickly. Lawrence has had some Lu-lu's in the past. If the city could ever gets its act together. They should be staffing a extra engine and ladder.

My family used to own that and the house up the street. Whenever I heard about that fire, I was devastated…. That house specifically is well known by the town and I was fortunate to live on that beautiful piece of property. Again, so sad about the mower fire… 😞
I feel horrible for the IC. They truly felt like they were doing the right thing. This is one of the reasons that I teach an independent class firefighting operations in buildings with sprinklers and standpipes. We need everyone to be trained.
