Thank you for watching - and great question! I will make a full video on how to prevent mosquito bites in the first place - but here are the answers to help you now: 1. Wear long sleeved clothes to cover your skin as much as possible, and wear a hat to avoid bites on the scalp 2. Wear clothes that are loose and not too thin - if clothes are skin tight and thin, mosquitoes can bite you through your clothes 3. Apply DEET (an insect repellent) on your skin (that is not covered by clothes) to prevent mosquitoes landing on your skin 4. Use permethrin (insecticide) on your clothes to avoid mosquitoes landing on your clothes and biting through your clothes - you can also use permethrin on the fabric of your tent if you are camping - do not use permethrin on skin 5. Use a mosquito net over your bed (but make sure the net is not in contact with your skin) to stop mosquitoes biting you in your sleep - also use mosquito nets over prams to prevent children getting bitten 6. Use a mosquito net cover over windows and doors to avoid mosquitoes getting into the house or place you are staying 7. Stay away from swamps or large areas of still water (including puddles, outdoor pools, buckets, or tyres that are laying around full of water) as these are places mosquitoes live and lay their eggs 8. Switch on air conditioning indoors 9. Stay indoors when the sun first comes up and when the sun goes down as (depending on the species) mosquitoes are most active (looking to feed on blood) around this time, and less active in the middle of the day. OFF contains DEET which is a good insect repellent 😊 although the chance of getting EEE is relatively low, during this season it's important to use insect repellent and avoid spending too much time at the lake when there are lots of mosquitoes around. mosquitoes can carry EEE and other diseases, so it's best to avoid getting bitten as much as possible, prevention is better than cure 😊
Hi, I'm traveling to a country that requires the vaccine but I left my vaccination card in my home country. I got the vaccine 6 years ago. Is there a problem if I get the vaccine again?
Usually there is no problem if you get the vaccine again - but if you are over 60 years old there might be a problem. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist to double check before you get the vaccine. If you get the vaccine again, make sure you get a new certificate too.
To give your body energy to get better, also sugar helps you keep water in your body to prevent dehydration. If you have vomiting and diarrhoea you cannot digest solid food, so liquid with sugar is easy to absorb.
Great question - this lotion will not reduce skin pigmentation as far as I know. I recommend you see a skin doctor, known as a dermatologist, to get a cream to help for this, they might give you a retinol or something similar. Also wear sunscreen to help prevent pigmentation if you go out into the sun 🌞
Great question - alcohol can cause dehydration so you may want to avoid drinking alcohol or drink less alcohol if you are trying to get better and recover from chicken pox.

Hello, if you have itchy and dark skin, you may need to use moisturiser and see your doctor for medicine to reduce the appearance of the scar (dark skin). This could be a retinoid. - this is not medical advice, please speak to your doctor or dermatologist (skin doctor).
Hey, see your doctor to take a look, they can tell if it is molluscum. If it is molluscum, then they can decide if you need treatment- otherwise they usually go away on their own (but do not pick them, otherwise they will leave a scar and they can spread to other parts of the body)
@Krishnapyari_surabhi good question - the lotion can help dry out the blisters as it contains zinc which is an astringent (it draws out water and shrinks pores)

Hi, sorry to hear your daughter is unwell. Please see a doctor to check about the neck pain quickly. There are medicines that sit in the mouth (they are like a tablet you do not swallow, it just melts on the tongue), this is called a meltlet type of medicine. There are also medicines that you can put in the bum, this is called a suppository. Ask your pharmacist for a meltlet for the mouth or a suppository for the bum for your daughter, there are medicines like paracetamol and ibuprofen that can help reduce pain and reduce fever in chicken pox.

@@pharmacistv oh man you don't even want to see the prices here. It's $624 for one rabies vaccine (rabavert) and about $570 for one Japanese Encephalitis (ixiaro) vaccine. Those are the most expensive we have, it's insane. lol
Good question - Speak to your pharmacist to get clove oil that you can use on your teeth. If the only ingredient is clove oil in the essential oil, and it is not contaminated, then it could be used on teeth - see your dentist as soon as possible if you have a toothache.
It is possible to use magnesium sulphate paste to draw out pus for paronychia to relieve pain - but please see a podiatrist (foot specialist) to take a look and offer you advice as you may need antibiotics or other treatment. Thank you for watching and hope the infection clears 😊

Losing weight can lead to changes in how much medication you take, so please speak to your doctor before taking anything like L carnitine or anything else. There may be other options that could help you and your doctor will be able to advise you.
Good question- you should wash off the calamine lotion first, then you can apply moisturiser. You should not pit calamine lotion on then moisturiser on top as it will dilute the calamine lotion and it will not work like it should to help reduce itching

Thank you - good question- you should not apply moisturiser at the same time or before or after using calamine lotion. When the chickenpox is gone and you no longer need to use calamine lotion, then you can apply moisturiser 😊
Hello, sorry to hear you have chicken pox- usually it takes 1 or 2 weeks for the virus to go away. Usually it gets worse (high body temperature and spots) before it gets better. Please see your pharmacist or doctor for treatment advice. Get well soon.

Generally yes, but if you have never used it on the face before then put a small amount to check you do not have a reaction to it. See your doctor or pharmacist for more advice if you are unsure.

Hello, You can apply itching cream but only on skin that is away from sensitive areas (like the inside of your nose, or inside mouth, or near eyes, or on eyes, or near private genital areas) - before you apply anything please see your doctor or pharmacist to check you can apply it. Chicken pox can come up anywhere including the nose, ears and hair (scalp). It usually takes one to two weeks to completely go away. If you are vomiting you need to see a doctor, it is probably not a good idea to eat a burger if you are vomiting.
