First off I’d read RU-vid secrets, come up with 100 episode ideas, find your niche, learn Adobe premier pro(that’s a tough one 😅) and get some decent audio and video equipment, but don’t break the bank! The guy that shows up the second before shift exchange, never ever early, then takes forever to relieve you, goes to his room first, makes a cup of coffee first, bathroom, takes forever to bring his gear over, does whatever he can to drag it out
I had a very religious guy as my driver on the truck one day and I told him where I wanted him to stop so we could get to a patient in the easiest way. He kept driving past it so I yelled stop the fucking truck!! When we got back to the station he asked me to sit down with him because I swore at him. I told him I don’t need to sit down and give you the reason I swore at you, it was because you didn’t stop where I told you to. If you do what I ask there won’t be any swearing.
1-I know yall got a sleeper sally, that man always sleeping on the recliner, the day room, the engine cab after a call 2-Two Temper Captain/Officer in charge. Dude always yells and micromanages every crew member usually on his 3rd heart attack, stroke, and or divorce 3-Barbell Barbarian, bros entire personality is lifting/gym life and turns every call into a calorie burning work out
The one that doesnt know jacksquat but makes excuses all the time bc he comes from a big city FD by saying “oh back at my station in (big city) we used to do it like this, amd youre looking at him like come on bud theres no way they do that.
I actually took the 20k increase. But with our department the guys on the ambulance fights fire too. So technically speaking I’m always first due now. 🤷🏻♂️
Ever hear of a firefighter driving the engine around the barricades and not making through the flooded underpass? May have been before your time but happened at at your old station. Lol
Most recent grievance. Just came back to my home station from paramedic orientation and A shifts rookie using my room. I come back to used towel and sock on my desk, dirty flip flops in the middle of the floor and a used Zyn on my night stand.
