Yes, loving who you are is correct and good. The Jubilee Year may help us all be more appreciative of each other's unique individuality. But whether the rest of the world loves you as you are or madly demands you change, is irrelevant to God. @@ydydyIn that case, I think his sacrifice accomplished this very thinf. Those who have come to know Jesus and chose to follow his example have allowed the world to reach beyond self extermination. The entire world should have gone blind by now, and would have if all of us had kept asking eye for eye. It is the love Jesus has inspired and ask of us that has given us the potential for a bright future. But like a seed, it takes time to grow. It has grown so much already and will grow even more yet.
I don't think he intended to sacrifice his life. Theology is a matter impossible to discuss via text, but in the event that the Jewish view is correct and he was just a human being, and one who didn't come back to life, then it's both unlikely and illegal for him to sacrifice his life. I can't say whether he would have succeeded as Messiah, but he was definitely an incredibly impressive candidate and the fact that Jewish Society allowed him to go unnoticed/ignored by those who could have allied with him (the Pharisee leaders) and then to be killed has (obviously) haunted Jewish Society since. The Christian antisemitism of the following centuries, is akin to all of the harm done to India by the individuals and groups aided by Gandhi, ever since the Indians allowed Gandhi to be killed. Societies are judged in one fell swoop by how they treat those who come to save them from themselves.
@@ydydy Believe me when I say, those who have persecuted the Jews have not done so on behalf of Jesus. The same way I'm certain Gandhi would not have wanted his death to be avenged. That said, it seems that those who follow what Jesus commanded, to forgive and to love even one's enemies, do not hold onto any animosity towards Christ's would be killers. How could we? Christ himself forgave them too. And it is that forgiveness that I believe has stayed the hand of God's wrath all these years. It is this love and forgiveness that God honors just as much as he might honor the blood of the innocent crying out for justice as he did Abel's. Yes, Abel too failed us by not forgiving his brother. At any rate, we should not hold onto our earthly lives as though in fear of the afterlife. For the afterlife is not to fear, but to be rejoiced over. I imagine it would be difficult to explain to someone that they should love their enemies, no matter how evil they appear to be. To love them even in the face of torture. But to do so is to trust in God and to truly be a His child. The scriptures are quite clear about Jesus knowing he would be killed. It even fulfills the old testament prophecy in Psalm 22. This Psalm is what Jesus alluded to when he said "Why have you forsaken me?" Jesus rose from the dead. There's no way any of his followers would have had the conviction to live for him unto death otherwise. I implore you to ask God to reveal the truth to you and seek it earnestly.

Presuming they are asking about the current title "Rebellion", well, my name is Musa, I'm in front of the pyramids and the arrow points up to the "Related Video" (if you are using the RU-vid app) where I read the first chapter from The Book of Isaiah from the Tora. It's about the need for us all to rebel against the way society currently operates. We think we're close to God but it's impossible to be close to God if we aren't good to each other. The situation to Egypt's north requires a rebellion. Not against anyone, but against the parts of ourselves that don't see each other as brothers and sisters (or at least as friends). This little video is just a funny moment but I have many many videos on this channel about the subject. Here in Egypt, like everyplace else in the world, there are people who live on the street and there are billionaires. That's terrible, right? But you know who's fault it is? Not the billionaires, the politicians or the banks but YOURS AND MINE! ....because if we could become billionaires we would. And we too would let people sleep on the streets. We need to rebel against a certain way of thinking and feeling. So, in case his/her comment ever gets through, that's what I mean by the title.

America is the same autocratic as Egypt but in America they don't fear the word "rebellion" because they have convinced the population that they can overthrow the system by voting. Of course that isn't true. It will matter to Trump or Kamala who wins the election but the same ruling class will rule regardless. Whether Republicans or Democrats hold the White House and Congress, the same exact people will sleep in mansions in the same exact people will sleep in the Streets. Egypt has a more honest system. The person who looks like he's in charge IS in charge. That makes for a bit of a problem for everyone because if you don't like the system what do you do? The only result can be chaos. In the USA (where I'm from) the pretend-democracy keeps people busy. That's why the only GOOD rebellion can be a spiritual/cultural rebellion against all of OUR OWN errors and selfishness. And that can work anywhere because it has nothing to do with politics. And I wouldn't be surprised if it starts in Egypt because Egyptians are already spiritually close to it. There are crazies and bad people in every country, but all of the thousands of Egyptians I have met I have liked. That's a good place to start.

I watched this video. I don't think a person can simply change another person's mind on such matters. Most of the time we are blind to our own shortcomings and think we are doing a pretty damn good job already. It's unfortunate but goodness is a privilege. It is a gift from God. One cannot simply choose to be good. It must be put there within a person's heart and those seeds must be tended and watered and nourished. I can't claim to be perfect, but every good deed I do I see the hand of God in. I am rewarded thusly. Seeing God is enough reward for me. I don't need others to reciprocate. If anything, I am rewarded more when I do something good for those who have gone against me. It's unfortunate, but the nature of goodness is it has to be tended and nourished over time. That the seeds of goodness from one person may be planted in others with every good deed they do. It cannot happen overnight, but incrementally with every good deed. I wish that if we just spoke strongly enough, or with enough conviction, that the world would change. But change takes sacrifice. The greatest change only comes with the greatest of sacrifices. I'd like to think that Christ did just that. That without Jesus, this world would be a thousand times worse off. The seeds the Son of Man was able to plant by serving us truly saved us in the most literal of senses. It changed us as a culture. God had given His life for us. That was quite the seed and it has grown into a world not entirely without some weeds, but still a world well on its way to being the way God intends it to be. Don't be discouraged if it seems your message is failing to get through. I believe in what you're doing and I'll help in any way I can. I'm trying to shine too!

The emperor in this case is the yetzer hara (in jew language) or satan (in christian language) or any of the secular philosophies that believe that selfishness pays off better than friendliness. Because you see, at this point they are still correct. Selfishness, let's say (metaphorical) Satan DOES pay better. Because he has us believes in him. Deep down we all believe and prefer to regard our fellow man as potential friend rather than as potential foe. Once we all acknowledge to each other that we all prefer to live a different way, we will all be able to do so --- without suffering for doing so because the rukes of engagement will have changed. To do that we can't reach one person at a time (any more than hitler could have conquered poland one foot at a time) - it needs to be via a massive event watched by millions of people all at once and then discussed by hundreds of millions or billions of people in the following days and weeks. Then we shall be ready to engage - en masse - with the Jubilee Year as brothers and friends, As God Intends Us To.
