This is still one of my favorite videos with Marty in it. Brings me a smile every time I view this and listen to this sweet, dynamic old man speaking about his enjoyment of his life and how he loved performing. I continue to get a kick out of how he says he still drives his car. Marty really loved living. And, he was such a cute senior citizen. Even if he wasn't feeling well, one would never have known it, because he was so positive. Where he is now, I continue to wish him eternal happiness.

I had the Great Pleasure of watching Marty and his wife perform then talk with him afterwards when I was a volunteer at the amazing Throckmorton Theater in Mill Valley , CA. We were celebrating his 93rd birthday I believe with a cake in the lobby after the show. He has the most beautiful and loving energy that you feel around him. I thanked him for bringing back old nostalgic memories of watching him on the Ed Sullivan show as a teen. He smiled and picked up my hand and kissed it with great joy. And I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how great his comedy skills and even dancing were at that age. He was actually very funny and danced well plus he was a great story teller. A favorite is his sharing of the Sullivan show when he and Rossi shared the program on the Same Night of the First Beatles Concert in America! No surprise that the Beatles enjoyed him especially John Lennon who was greatly amused when meeting him. So sad to hear of his passing years later but WHAT A LIFE!

I know what's wrong with my marriage..I'm not good looking enough, I don't make enough money, I'm too loud. I'm not like Jenny's husband, I can't drive well, and I embarress her in church...

Yes, Marty. That's the secret. Keep doing what you LOVE to do for as long as you can do it, and love a lot and have a lot of love in your life, as you did. You were also a prayerful man. That's important.

Good presentation. I’m thinking of an instance where a partner reveals they are a sexual person but they are not sexually attracted to their partner, haven’t been, entered relationship for other reasons and let it go too long.

I read a book about CBT therapy and it talked a lot about how parts of CBT come from Buddhism. I personally have found CBT incredible for my OCD. It also connects the western and eastern psychology. Love people who are talking about this!

I have a suggestion too for another video: How to talk to your clients about their needs. How to talk about it, discuss what it means. How to explore it together with their partner. Sometimes I have a hard time with this discussion.

Hi I love your videos!! I've been watching them to better understand EFT as I'll be graduating with a master's in MFT in July 2021 and am looking to utilize EFT for couples and teens. Also, what is the intro song that you play?

Wise words! I've often found family dynamics oddly parallel work dynamics too. Metaphorically "reparenting" leaders is so important 💗 Dr. Liz

I attribute my ADHD to finding this channel and watching every video in double speed. I’m currently on three screens right now😊. I also recommend this channel to my therapist and psychologist friends. Disclosure, I don’t have any of those degrees, getting through life with a GED and a ADHD. I found my sweet spot for education, I’ve read over 800 books (all in behavioral science) in the last six years by playing the audio at double speed and reading the physical book this helps keep my squirrels at bay. I am also a licensed Myers-Briggs practitioner and my type is ENFP, that’s like if Tony Robbins and Brené Brown had a child, it would be me. (also a pursuer) 😊

This brief introduction is a beautiful way of introducing EFT, but more so, the hope for reconnecting the relationship. This clip definitely gives the feel of being heard and safe. Great job Anabelle

Hi Anabelle, enjoyed your conversation here with Dr Giulia. Not sure if you do welcome comments but I hope you may consider doing a video focusing on Pursuers in EFIT. Perhaps also in particular how Pursuers can reconcile in EFIT a long and ongoing personal history of emotional neglect in relationships with others. Thanks for the videos!

Those assessment questions at 21:31 were fascinating. Starting with asking if the couple even wants to have each other as their primary attachment, mindblowing. Never would even consider that being a question with the couples I work with.
