I already see a correlation/improvement with, guitar, freestyle rapping, and now I look at boxing way different now. This is all from just 2-8 minutes a day (EVERYDAY). Just got to week seven yesterday.
Now THIS is a useful tool for beginners! I wasn’t even sure I found all the buttons on this thing yet! The palm keys and the left hand table keys are mind-boggling! Lol. At least for now anyway… 😅.
Hi Neil , I’ve learned the first part thanks to your tutorial . I would love to learn it all but I don’t find a complete tutorial anywhere. Can you please help?
Hello Brady, on the soprano I have, it has a somewhat large ring that I put my thumb through. That keeps the sax position stable. It’s also not too heavy, so that seems like enough for me for now. Some people use straps for soprano but there are quite a few who do not.
Got it. The ring is not a standard thing. And my soprano is also from 1929. So for stability of the sax as you play or comfort, you might want a strap.
Ik it’s a stretch due to how late I am but is there sheet music for this piece anywhere. I’m unable to find it and have trouble remembering music without reading a sheet music
Try Googling "sunny Bobby Hebb sheet music," you might need to transpose though depending on which instrument you're playing and if you want to play in the original key.
Hello Casey, it should be there if you add a new course. The two new courses- math & music were at the top of the list for me. Might need to update the app.
That’s interesting! I’ve used Duolingo to study French but not gonna lie I haven’t practiced in a bit so I didn’t even know when they added a music course. I’ll have to check it out sometime
@@SaxStation Piano is my main instrument for my music studies. I have been playing for five years now. My sight reading isn't perfect though. I can indentify notes okay for the most part, it's just reading through stuff while playing that needs more work. My ear training could always use work too
Cool, let me know what you think if you try it. A different app more for ear training might be a better fit. And just practicing sight reading more. This app is more for people starting off from what I can tell.
@@SaxStation For sure! I'll have to try it on my iPad when I get home because it seems that those courses are only available on iOS devices so far. They're not available to android devices yet
interesting review however fundamentally flawed from the point of view that Jamulus is "better" than Sonobus, they are just different and have inherent strengths depending on geography. Jamulus (2006 launch) is Client/Server base setup vs. Sonobus (2020 launch) which is Peer-to-Peer so, if geographically distant musicians can find a Server in the middle (geographically) they may have a better experience on Jamulus, shorter distance then if Peer-to Peer (router to router). You have to try both to know what suits your needs best. Sonobus is newer tech obviously which is more diverse and dead simple to install compared to Jamulus when it comes to integrate a DAW.
I learned it on tenor originally and then I learned it myself on alto from what I knew. One option is the a real book which has a lot of jazz tunes. And one version that has it is the sixth edition volume 2, amzn.to/3ufePHd I would check out what else is in that book and see if it would be what you want.
