The guy that gave me my baby plant in Hawaii works for department of agriculture and told me to let it seed and it will just give me a huge pot! He said that they like cool nights and 80% shade and love to be saturated with water 🤷🏼♀️ Apparently that's how they grow best on the windward side of Hawaii... which seems to contradict everything this lady says. He even said to cut a milk jug down and put bottom of the pot, so drainage doesn't happen 😅 I believe half the width of those plants she has maintains more flavor, as the aromatics come from the veins of the leaf 😊
@trulyhappyinthesun I hope his advice helps! I'm actually agreeing with most of it, so I don't necessarily see how it contradicts. Maybe with the amount of rain we get on our summer days is a factor. I have experienced root rot with them being shaded for most of the day here in my zone. I hope you check out my follow-up video on growing these . My grandmother used to make seedless purple grape Cobbler! She grew them in her yard. If you ever get the chance to try it! Please do a video on it!! People never missed out on a dish with French Vanilla ice cream. :)

@AngelS-br3vv by God's Grace I'm doing well. I got pregnant the week before my hysterectomy and throughout and even after it has been so much better Thank God for that !
