hey man, your videos are super helpful. I can't seem to get pywal to change the text color in my terminal like yours, all my text is grey. any idea what to do?
@@sane1090x0 I think I figured out the cause. In my case the value of the terminal key is exec , $terminal which is a variable, I have to initialize the $terminal variable in the same file. (binds.conf)
I am currently on Arch Linux KDE, getting a thinkpad soon and planning on doing hyprland. All these videos have been a massive help for me researching since there's not much else besides the wiki that I can find.
Thank you for making this video! Really helpful. I'm just wondering why is the first comma needed before xf86MonBrightnessUp/Down? When it's not there hyprland is not happy but I'm not quite sure what purpose it serves here? Edit: Watched the part about volume later in the video and you answered it there basically haha
i have recently shifted to the hyprland from kde ,and your tutorial is way more useful than many so known popular youtuber who just flaunts off ,Thank you so much for the guidance! i hope to see more like this
must say it's always an indian! i have to project my screen in my college but i do not know how to configure the dispaly mode (extent, duplicate, blah blah) could you please make a video on that i will be more than thankful
4:57 Man I'm loving your wofi theme, if onld I could see the whole thing (it doesn't seem to be checked into your dotfiles repo) Also thanks a lot for the tip of using pywal, that actually makes theming my waybar and everything a whole lot easier
Wow thats what i need thanks a lot. But a question: when i install zsh, or other shell, how can i link it inside hyprland.conf? With bash all ok but after zsh also modifying the secton inside hyprland.conf SUPER_SHIFT ,T doesn't work. Thanks
How did you configure waybar to change colors according to your GTK theme? EDIT: Ah, just found your tutorial about pywal. Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it
Hey there! I have been struggling a bit with waybar for some time now. Can you please share the waybar dotfiles which you have used in this video? It would be a great help.

Love the series, keep this going please! I just came here from part 2 and was wondering when did you configure your waybar? I was hoping to see a video on that.
This video was sooooo helpful! Thank you ! Keep up the great work! I was looking for a thorough video on hyprland for a long time and this is the best!
Sadly, a lot. I haven't customized Windows enough to know all the tools that are available to make it look more like this setup, but I doubt there's much that can mimic this.
