I tried this technique and it’s fantastic. Separate the paste and add a drop or two of your favorite paint mix and apply to the light color papers for a stunning result too. Thanks for sharing Ms. Heather.

You can't put flowers to dry in wax paper. It won't dry and will mold. Must be book paper of some kind to absorb into paper fibers

Nice job. Yes it is an awl pronounced all. Get yourself a few long beading needles. They will aid you in pulling ribbon/ string etc through all holes at once.
