Ill be honest im new when it comes to flying sims and i don't really care about vr, i don't own one and don't plan to get one and graphics are secondary to me i just wanna know if i can play it without vr, before i buy it and if its worth it(gameplay specifically)

I agree don’t buy Project Wingman for VR. Do however buy Project Wingman because it’s a solid fighter jet game. …Or just keep playing AC7 4 years later.
This review is terrible. The dev team is three people making this game off pure passion. The music is one person on a Mac. Its coded by one dude. They cant just have the resources to make the perfect game like you want. Of course not everyone will like it but if you cares even a slight bit you would know. This saddens me when people ignorantly review something as pure as PW like this.
No hotas, worse graphics than ace combat 7 on PS4 both in VR and „normal” mode, only few vr missions (on pc you can play the whole game like that), a lot of bugs. I’ve wasted my money😊
You can do the new missions in normal flat screen but you cant do the main campaign in vr idk why. I think they might update it and let you do the whole campaign. To be fair its developed by like one guy. This game is meant to be played in flatscreen because its based on older ace combat games not 7. This game was never the graphical fidelity of ace combat 7 because again its developed by like one dude and it took him years to get this much. Gameplaywise this game beats AC7 in every reguard. Just because its not the best graphically doesnt mean its a bad game. You seem prejudiced against this game because of the way it looks. I understand getting disappointed by graphics. Im disappointed i dont get to play the new missions yet. Ace combat gave you 3 missions this one gave you 6. And again made by one guy. Its not gonna have all the quality of life features and its not gonna look as good as a triple a studio. I recommend this game to any ace combat fan but i recommend it on pc. The whole campaign is VR on PC and thats where most people play it. Its got hotas support and vr support and mods. I wouldnt be surprised if the rest of the campaign came to psvr2 but again its made by one guy pretty much and he now has 3 platforms to manage. They have said that they arent done with the game and will keep adding to it. I agree though and they probably shouldve marketed this game better than they did. It is pretty misleading and disappointing that pc doesnt get the new missions and ps doesnt get the vr compatibility for the whole campaign.
I understand it's made by one guy. But the biggest let down was only 6 missions in vr. I don't want to play this game flat. If it was the whole game I'd be much less frustrated. But as far as it goes I have now played the whole first mission and it got stale by the end.. wave shooter style. It would be more exciting to have dogfights closer to ground level but then you are reminded of the graphics. And yeah one guy I get it. But also look at all the other games made by one guy.. it's definitely possible to achieve much better graphical fidelity with current hardware. Even solo.
@@AceMaverick I think it just needed more time to cook. I recommend this game on pc the whole campaign is in VR. It wouldnt surprise me if full campaign VR came to PS5 eventually and i dont really defend the choice to make it only 6 new missions in VR. Another thing to consider for graphic is the rendering budget. this game focusses more on the number of enemies and smoke trails than the individual quality of any one asset which is likely to be upgraded at some point. The game recently moved to Unreal Engine 4.27 its still a hard engine to work with compared to what you might see with UE5. The first mission of any flight game is kinda lame even AC7 (i havent played the VR missions because im on PC) If you were hoping for the gimmicks and things that AC7 had then this game might not be for you but if you give it a full playthrough and appreciate the flight model the AoA limiter and the sandbox that is where this game shines and its even better if youre a long time fan of ace combat when you see the similarities and references to the levels from the old ones. Its like if you played halo and stopped at the first level because it was just a linear hallway level. It opens up when the sandbox gets bigger and it gets more fun. I havent played the VR missions because i dont have a PS5 but what i see looks really fun. Maybe its a me thing but graphics dont really matter so much to me its the gameplay with these games.
I wish there were a comprehensive video online explaining the building mechanics. I spent an hour trying to put some stairs in my base and I just had to give up :( I tried to decipher what all the dots and rings and stuff mean and why they only show up where I don't need them, but so far they're just an enigma lol.
I have always had Xbox and PlayStation every generation except this one because they were SO hard to get so I’ve only had XSX for nearly 3 years but I just paid off my credit card and now YOU come along with your stoopid VIDEO and my local Big W and EB have truckloads of VR2 and PS5s so THAT’S IT! I’m watching at 2160/60hz and it should look less crisp than on my XSX in 2D but it doesn’t look THAT different man. I expected to look half as good and it looks more like 4/5ths as good. Considering you’re INSIDE THE FREAKING GAME oh shit I can’t wait. Even if it’s 2 hours a week or 4 hours a month I’m super down for this. In Australia it costs $1650 for PS5 and VR2 so F#CK YOU MAN😁
Sir, I'm sorry to bother you but everyone's at work, I bough everything and just downloaded NMS and now downloading Village and I haven't played Playstation for 4 years (my account was still there) SO my question is; Can I not do anything else on my PS5 while games download? Or am I missing something? Thanks if you can help. Zero stress if not, you're not my secretary👍
@MrMightyZ you should be able to play other things if it's on your system while downloads go on in the background yes. Do a thorough comb of the system setting it may be a setting? But I don't think so.
As good as the game looks, they still haven't given me the update I need to let me use a standard controller layout for flight control instead of forcing me to do the hand motions on the virtual sticks. Flying was always my favorite part in NMS and the motion controls ruined it for me.
What ya gotta do is get an arm chair. Plant your arm on the chairs arm. Push the grab button so your character grabs the flight stick (don't move your hand to the stick in game let your avatars hand move to it on its own) then keep your arm planted and only move your wrist as the pivot point. (Mind you will have to roll back onto your elbow a bit to "pull up" ) Worlds more control that way. Give it a shot lemme know.
@@AceMaverick That's exactly how I've been playing for a while now. It does definitely help but I don't think I'll ever feel as in control as I do using a controller. I used to be quite good at ship combat but now I'll always be a novice at best. LOL
@@fabolousjada5070 you cant make families in NMS you don't have space cowboys, the guns are trash and ther eis no need to even fight dead ass enemies. Sony tried to buy Starfield to keep it off Xbox, had they done so yall lames would be screaming how its NMS 2.0 but since it ain't happen NMS better than starfield cuz you can't play it. Wait until all Acti games removed from PS
@AceMaverick I love no man's sky my favourite game bar none. I understand the inspiration from where the fluoro space came from, for me though it's not a sci fi stero type I'm into. If one or two artists in the 60s had spaceships represented by flying kittens that pooped rainbows I would not appreciate that either🤗. Still literally my favourite game of all time, and I'm an old fella. 😊
Got a super detailed park going and didnt even realise this counter was going.. until i tried to add some flowers and it said no. It's crazy that this is allowed, surely we should be able to select to have it or not if it becomes an issue. Thanks for the tips but wish they would just update the game to allow it to be taken off.
Hmm.. I guess I didn't pay attention to the day count. Riding the skiff back does that every time eh? Lame. You could always go the long way back thru the church but i also dunno cuz that gate is shut. Maybe fi d a way to glitch back over.
