@@Paperochek Forgiving, maybe, depends on your definition, easy, hell naw. I have very extensive experience with platformers including tough ones like Celeste and this game is very hard, and for all the wrong reasons IMO. And before somebody else comes at me with sKiLl iSsUe, I completed both the main game and the DLC with all collectibles.
Both companies get that we want cool lights on our synths. Arturia plz copy. It makes me wish the mc-101 had audio input though, since the mininova has a pretty unique 2000s trance sound that I really enjoy, probably because it was used all over that era. I know I could just use a mixer, but part of how I like to do these jam vids is with my phone via the USB audio with a USB c. adapter. But the verselab and 707 both have it :)
The thought that there are people out there who can play multiple successive loops of this game on New Game + without dying, is absolutely terrifying to me.
Man, that looks very good. Unfortunately, I had a "bug" while playing. When I got the music note, the messager just flew past it and fell the cliff, dying in the process, which made respaw at the exit, skipping this whole sequence
Big spoilers for sea of stars, prequel to the messenger. Given what we know now about the demon king, and how he was the dweller of strife combined with the fleshmancer cultists, it's safe to assume that this abomination here, in the far far future of the messengers cursed world, is a world eater, the evolved version of the demon king who fed off of the strife between humanity and the demons for thousands of years. Cool how sea of stars built onto the messengers lore in so many ways.
It's probably not the Demon King (Dweller of Strife fused with the Acolytes), but i'm 95% sure it is a world eater, could be any dweller really when you see they usually just turn into gigantic purple flesh masses with teeth and wings when they evolve. but then again, we don't know! All i know is i LOVE the universe they built with these 2 games and i'm definitely looking forward to more
@@athan_valentine To back up my point, anytime we travel through time in the messenger we always end up on the same patch of land. Most likely, when the messenger travelled to the far far future, he ended up on the future mesa island, where the demon king would have been residing at that point for thousands of years. That's why I think it's the evolved demon king, although there's still some things we don't know about it, like how its able to be harmed really well with a regular sword, compared to solstice magic which is typically the weapon used to obliterate dwellers, although that could be due to its mortal components. Either way, I agree with you in that this worldbuilding these 2 games have given us is fantastic.
@@TheBanishedWind nope ! It's actually confirmed that they got fused into the Demon King of The Messenger, and the World Eater we fight after the final boss is just a random one that the fleshmancer had been cooking up for Serai's world
@@athan_valentine I knew about the Acolytes becoming the Demon King, but the World Eater at the end is the same being that chases the Ninja after he gets the Magic Note in the Corrupted Future.
