A few years ago the developer removed the ability to buy a third bean field. Its now fixed permamtly at 3 fields for 3 players, and 2 fields for all other player counts.

i really like this kind of tutorial as a beginner to this hobby :D the way you set it up gives me a feel for how the game will look on the table + how much space it'll take up, and now this looks interesting enough to where I want to get it!

Actually, you get the mine payout of 1 silver per mine at the end of turn 5 as well.
