Glad you guys made it over there. I thought it was great! I hiked it... If I get back that way with the wife, I'll have to try it out as a guided tour. Looks like a different experience. :) I was happy with hiking though.
You never know how many folks are going to be there. We had some early morning rain and fog and I think that helped it from getting overcrowded for us. It also kinda helped set a certain vibe ... 😀👍
I love it there. Experience is so different from Monument Valley, which was awful because we had to cram into vehicles with so many people. Your drone shots are amazing.
Thank you! Yes, totally agree! We were disappointed in Monument Valley ... probably because we'd just spent the day before at Valley of the Gods. This is one of our all time favorite places. 😀👍
That sounds like a great trip! We haven’t figured out what we’re gonna do about kayaks and how we’d bring them that far but we really want to because that would open up a whole bunch of new really cool stuff. 😃👍😎

Agreed! We are usually sit more upright than this. They tell us that there is a new, upgraded version coming out next month so when we get that we’ll let you know if that does better in that regard. 👍😃
In April 2018 I commissioned the Parker 15PSI atmospheric boiler for the distillery. I was allowed to tour the entire place with my co-worker. It was not open yet as they had just recently started the renovation. The restaurant was being worked on and there were people in the prison working on rust remediation and clean up. I got a different explanation of "D" block than what I have heard in other videos as inmates at times were left out there as punishment when it was cold. I returned in 2020 to PM the boiler and it was remarkable how it had all turned out. I retired in 2023 and moved back west before ever being assigned to go out there again. Nice video.
We are happy to have you here, but I'm afraid you may have us confused with someone else because we don't have a new van. We lost our Jeep JL Wrangler last year and are just about done building out a Jeep Gladiator to replace it. 🙂👍

We first visited Helen when we were on a Jeep trip with our group ... the Dirty Bunch Jeep Club. It is a really cool little place and is definitely worth checking out. They've also just finished building a castle there that we want to go and check out. 👍😀
Nice! They say that you pass a dozen snakes for every 1 you actually see... or something like that. Once I see a snake, I start seeing them everywhere.
