I've been listening to heavy music since my early teens and thought it was time for me to start giving back to the music community and share my knowledge of the underground metal scene and promote bands/albums I feel don't get the full credit they deserve. Really enjoyed this mate. I saw Nile do the end part of 4th Arra of Dagon at Bloodstock in 2012, and its crushed big time. Always good to see Morbid Angels Domination shown, a perfect album from start to finish. Cheers mate

Some of these I was expecting to see because you've mentioned them over the years but a load I know nothing about too. Given your list though you definitely picked the right RU-vid name lol.
Aye I haven't changed much over the years, discovered a lot of new bands but will always have my old favorites. Haha funny enough I thought the same thing once I finished that list!
Quite a few I've never heard in this lot Evadne being one of them. Some interesting picks from the bands I do know although I'm not 100% sure which albums I'd pick. Good stuff mate 🍻🤘🏻
Evadne are great mate so you're in safe hands! Most of these have stuck with me since my late teens so was an easy list. Helps when you stopped collecting through most of your 20's haha. Cheers for watching mate

That's a savage list! I'd have the same My Dying Bride, Sabbat, Sentenced and Bolt Thrower albums too. For others i'd have the same bands but different albums, Suffocations "Pierced..", Nile's "Annihilation....", Dissections "Storm.." and Morbid Angel's "Formulas.."

Bolt thrower are fantastic. My favourite is ".... For Victory" but best cover is "Real of Chaos" (both covers). About Nile i would have choose "In their darkned shrines". About doom/death check out MORGELLONS - Delusional Parasitosis.
Excellent list of extreme metal and i like all of it. Surprised to see Sabbat excellent stuff, Gorefest is the best next to False, Edge Of Sanity's finest hour, Hooded Menace rules, Grand Supreme Blood Court is quality Domination is Morbid Angels best in my ears and so on. I recently heard an interesting new single by High Parasite, a doomy band with Aaron from My Dying Bride on vocals. Take Care.
Awesome list of Extreme Metal Liam! I have one Debauchery album, it's definitely not to be taken serious and that way you get more enjoyment out of it (even though I'm sure the main guy is dead serious about it). So many awesome bands here, and lots I need to check out. Great to see Sabbat, Immortal, Morbid Angel, Asphyx, Grand Supreme Blood Court, Suffocation, Nile, Edge of Sanity, Gorefest, Bolt Thrower, Blood Red Throne and Dissection make your list, to name a few 🤘🏻🤘🏻

That Grand Supreme Blood Court record is fucking wonderful! Don’t see that one brought up too often. Unfortunately, CD only for me as well. Interesting Suffo pick! Underappreciated for sure. That Sentenced is phenomenal too. Again, not mentioned enough for my liking Killer vid. 🤘🏼

Nearly! I had sorted the pickup placements and volume controls but what I thought was fixed by soldering hasn't worked for the lead pickup so going to have to bite the bullet and get it looked at when funds are there. Cheers for watching chief 🤘🍻
Great list! Yeah Gorefest is great. Han Chris has such a good growl (and you hear the lyrics). Most of the time you hear Asphyx or Pestilence as the best Dutch, but for me at least one Gorefest album belongs in the top 30 of best top Death albums. Yep: False. I like Erase too (although to clear production) as well as Rise to Ruin. Thanks for the Funeral album suggestion. Didn’t know that one; will check them out. The My Dying Bride album is my favorite too. Catherina Blake (you should read her story) and the Price of Beauty are so good.

@@TheDeathDoomMetalHead Already did. New venue to explore. The structure is familiar but the bands themselves are unknown to me. So far, Epic Metal is the thing. As for Doom Metal, some work is great. I just need to find more, it's out here. The rhythm & the melodies are simply amazing. It's the voice that keeps me frowning in many cases. Wonderful journey though. Can't think of a better retirement plan. All the best!

Nice update, Liam. Only a few here that I'm familiar with, but there's plenty here for me to dig my teeth into! Sounds like Joe's another nerd, as Gom Jabbar is a reference to Dune - it's a box containing needles which injects poison into anyone that puts their hand inside, causing instant death. Lovely stuff! 😂 Dylan sent me a copy of that Daisy Cutter album, along with pretty much everyone else I know from RU-vid! I saw Froglord at a gig with Green Sabre about a year back. Mental. Cheers! 🤘

Cool video man, thanks for that. Great stuff from Morbid Chapel, all 3 releases sound awesome. Also that first Forgotten album is nice, but I am also a power metal guy so for pure death/doom heads this one might be controversial.
Yeah I didn't realise with that first Forgotten album but it's still a solid album. Reminded me a lot of bands like Scald and Hammer fall so was nice change up. Cheers for watching mate 🤘🍻🍻

Lots of stuff I have not heard here. Forgotten, Mortal Embodiment, Tomb Portal all sound great and the Tomb Portal cover is awesome. A band I recently picked up is a new release from "Totengott - Beyond The Veil" which is very much in the realm of Celtic Frost/Triptykon. Really Killer. Take Care Liam
