You only have a single piranha in this tank when they are a pack animal and live in schools with dozens of others also not to mention the abusively small tank for a fish that large. What kind a dumb cunt jackass buys an exotic fish but refuses to properly care for them. Disgusting
Love to see people still thinking they know everything and everyone is a snowflake but really are unintelligent. That's not nature that's man mimicking it. They breed fish specifically to feed fish in the hobby and what is torture also is keeping that piranha in that tiny aquarium, this person obviously knows nothing about keeping fish. I love piranhas, but so many owners get them just to satisfy some inherent need to see other fish and/or animals suffer and be devoured by them. Cichlids are cool fish, too, and this shouldn't be done. That cichlid knows he's in trouble. =/ These fish can inhabit the same tank, if they are all introduced at the same time and when they are all young. If the tank has the required number of hiding spots, for all of the fish, and they are fed regularly ... then piranhas and cichlids can be kept together.
Yeah. I think there's a difference between it happening in a lake somewhere vs someone setting it all up in their living room. Takes a special kind of person

If you'd have had same amount and sized shoal of P. Piraya or P. Cariba red belly's it would've been plenty of educational action and a bit or gore, but it wouldn't have lasted long at all. Life is a learning experience.
