Gameplay/videos from MLB The Show, mainly dealing with Stadium Creator, Franchise, and streaming gameplay. Check out my other channels for Star Citizen, Cities: Skylines, and Farming Simulator as well as Twitch for streaming of all.
From what I understand, it's officially called "Pesky's Pole" (according the plaque on the wall and the fact that it was named after Johnny Pesky, therefore being his pole)... However, that people around Boston call it Pesky Pole. It's a cool piece of baseball either way
Hey thanks! I appreciate you saying that. This is still probably my favorite one I've done... Even to the point where I've thought about re-starting my franchise to move Oakland to Portland instead of Vegas ha
Thanks! Yeah, this is probably my favorite one that I've done. It's not in the vault quite yet... That's my bad. Needed to fix one thing I noticed after this video and then went out of town. I'll get it uploaded to the vault when I get back this weekend.
@@Gopper_Gaming-MLBTheShow that’s awesome. It’s an amazing build. I’ve tried building my own using yours as inspiration, but I ended up just using yours instead haha.
I think they'd be cooler if they didn't look a lot like the ones Philly just released. I like them though overall... Especially being a different scheme than their normal unis
You’re tutorials have helped a ton, but I’m trying to figure out how to place stuff really close to the batters eye without it saying it’s too close. Is that possible?
Awesome, I'm glad they've helped you out as for placing them close... There isn't really a way to do it. It drives me nuts too... But there are some that allow you to get closer than others. Unfortunate, because some of the cooler ones are the ones that don't allow anything close at all, so I end up not using those. There used to be a glitch that allowed it, but I think they patched that out now.
Haha nice! That's funny. Definitely not on purpose though, and I hate that it does that. It only happens because it's recorded in 4K with HDR and apparently the shorts can't handle that. That's why the actual clip looks okay but the short looks weird.
I do tend to agree with that, but I don't think competition is coming anytime soon at all. At least 2K was good for that back in the day though, I agree. I was kinda hoping they'd at least have more resources once they moved to XBox and double their base, but yeah... I definitely have some frustrations ha. I love that they created the stadium creator, but I do think it could benefit from some small changes. Other game modes are a different story... I am a bit irritated by the lack of love that some of the modes get. Franchise has so much more potential...
Kind of hard to explain via comment ha. I do have a tutorial video on how I do them though. That's probably the best route unless there is like a specific question about them
I believe it is... I'm not actually sure on that though. I just transferred it from 23, so I don't know if others can see it. I will be updating it though soon here for 24 and uploading that version too
Are you talking about the one at the home plate entrance? That one is just a building prop actually. Just happens to be that the roof of it is like that. Let me know if you're referring to something else though.
Hey thanks! Yeah, I like how this one turned out. In terms of the vault, the easiest is to just search by my ID, which is mdbaseball05. That should bring up all of mine. If you want to search by name, the names for the vault are under each individual stadium video in the description so they can found too. Easiest is just by ID though.
I wouldn't actually know... I've never done timing. Either way, it's still a dumb comment on his part because the PCI placement is in the video in the feedback
Nice! I’ve used the walkways in a similar way on one of my stadiums. The batters eye patch just screwed it though and sent me back to the drawing board. Good stuff tho! 🫡
Nice! Yeah, those new walkway props came in at the perfect time. This stadium was actually almost done in 23, but I couldn't figure out what to do with that area. Once I saw those, I was so happy ha. But thanks! I do like how this one turned out.
Eh, not beginner, but I use dynamic for hitting, so it's somewhere in between All-Star and HOF difficulty. Glad these comments have gotten better than they used to be with the idiots that used to say something about using timing with Perfect-Perfect hits, clearly showing they don't understand what Perfect-Perfect means.
There's a rumor circulating that The Royals are going to name their next stadium B-Hole Field. For short, fans will refer to it as The B-Hole. By the way, your stadium looks great.
I gave a lengthier answer in your other comment, but let me know if you have specific questions or something... like "how tall should the exterior be" or like "where should I have a building versus like where should I not have one". It's hard to answer the broad question in a comment without knowing specifics
That one can be answered in a lot of different ways depending on the style and size of the ballpark itself, so that's a tough one to answer in a comment. I would just say that the exterior is what is going to serve as the way people get around the stadium, which is why you see them extend up to the bottom part of the upper decks, and then are present where there is seating. They just need to house team stores, bathrooms, and ramps, so they don't need to be big. And, just match the themes to the ballpark itself or the area you are choosing to build it in.
Hey thanks! I appreciate it. My user for the Vault is mdbaseball05. There are individual videos for all of these on my page, and each of those has the specific name in the description for them as well if it's easier to search that way too.
