Put your seatbelt on moron you think your loved ones want to see you ejected through your windshield? I never understand people who don’t wear their seatbelt
That’s how my older Cummins 12 valve sounded. It could hook up to my 42’ toy hauler that was “loaded for war” & just put it in 2nd gear never riding the clutch & just “walk off” like there was nothing behind her! She sounded like a Peter built ready to breed a ford or Chevy! 😂😂😂
finally found someone with a truck that not only sounds close to mine, not only has that crackle pop, not only has a 5 speed, but uses that clutch and shows of that beautiful mid shift snarl these engines give.
Beautiful, sounds healthy, and awesome driving. I have a 12 valve myself, and I need to get around to fixing some stuff on the poor guy. Gotta get the pac-brake to stop sticking, service the rear sway bars, fix the hole in the transfer case and get the 5th gear welded back on... 👀 Other than that she still runs pretty darn smooth all these years later. Could definitely benefit from new engine mounts though, and for that matter it might not hurt to replace the lift pump. And a wishlist item is to upgrade the steering to 4th Gen as well... Dang, more to fix up than I realized I guess. Sheesh.
@@Split9-lf4cs sorry, RU-vid never sent me the notification lol. I always respond when I get it. She's a '97 4x4 with the 4500 + Gear Vendors and an SRW Dana 80 rear axle paired with some heavy duty steel wheels with 14 ply 19.5's, so I call her the Dodge Ram 3000 lol. Been fixing it up the last few months and one thing after the other keeps breaking or wearing. Definitely a project truck for the foreseeable future, so it's a good thing that I finally got a new job. 🤣
First and foremost, I enjoyed your shifting. I've been driving Peterbilts for over 26 yrs. And seen and still see people that CAN'T shift. Nice driving.
