This video was long but not boring and well done! It does a great job of explaining the research behind play-based learning, as well as the methodologies. Great job doing this in laymen's terms so that I can refer my parents (and administrators) to this information!
the earlier kids start to reason, the earlier they ll become an adult.....why hurry, when spontaneity, tranquility, enthusiasm, and imagination of the impossible is lost in the way?????
I really wish we could implement this in my school district. It would take a lot of education district wide, school wide, financial funding partners, parents, etc.
I am a nature teacher. I am so inspired by your video. I habe watched it several times and enjoy getting lost in thought about new opportunities where I work. Wouod it be possible to share some information on the resources you mentioned? For example, where can you find those blocks?
We are glad you found the video inspiring! I will ask our staff and see if we can add some information in that description. Thanks for the great suggestion!
Education from birth through high school has always been a Collaborative Partnership with parents! And, it’s usual includes the Community, as well! So, if your parent audience thinks they’re not a significant part of this partnership, I’m glad you’re bringing it up & to everyone’s attention. Everyone benefits from our children being well educated, therefore should take an interest & participate in it, as much as possible!! Nice video!!
I'm so sorry for your loss, Elizabeth. Thank you to you all the parents who shared their stories and experience with inclusion. Invaluable for other parents who are worried about so many different aspects such as peer acceptance and accomplishment.
