@@missiondiscover that was just a common carp, you can tell by the mouth structure and fin orientation and shape. A goldfish X carp would have a longer dorsal fin, not to mention its lacking coloration which could be a mutation but this is most likely a mirror carp X common carp at most
I respectfully disagree. The lack of barbels and scale count suggest goldfish carp hybrid, and that seems very likely since there are both goldfish and carp in this pond. Ultimately, it is very difficult to know for sure with potential hybrids. I appreciate your input, and you clearly know your stuff!
Look at Pops and Greg chillin out there....lol...nice performance under pressure....still watching...I'm convinced some of those takedowns are dumb fish eating the sinker. Lol...why do they call em pin fish...oh.
Missed the premier by 2 minutes so I had to watch it alone lol but awesome video! I don't have any videos on my channel of me doing it, but I do a lot of wadding in the summertime in my local lakes and I use a very similar shoe made by Magellan. Definitely better than a water shoe when it comes to comfort and dry a lot quicker than my sneakers. We have a lot of larger rocks that are very painful if you wear shoes with a very thin soul like water shoes. Great video man, keep it up!
Hammocks are something I definitely want to try...comfort should be higher, but there are less places to put them since you need trees relatively close together
@@missiondiscover make sure you have a hammock quilt if you camp on chilly weather. Other than that they are incredble and very lightweight to pack in your bag.
How many can you catch in an hour? Dude ive been trying to get into fishing, went like 6 times so far and caught nothing! Tried different lures, spots, everything!
Just keep working...everyone starts slow. When I first started, I would go out for 2 hours and only get 3 or 4. I have some good resources for lots of types of fishing on my channel to help as well.
Please could you start the video by briefly describing the rig, bait, hook size you are using - really important for the viewer to know these things to make watching the video worthwhile, thanks.
I do that in the majority of my videos, however I was trying to be generic so this topic could appeal to novice anglers as well. For your information I was using a size 16 crane fly larva fly on my tenkara USA iwana rod
