I love ALL of the HBCU bands! ALL of them are unique, industrious, with their own style and sound! Y’all keep up the excellent work! Blessings on all of the HBCU’s students, teachers, and bands!
Only thing I have to say is when you thought tha was playing for T in the beginning it was actually the euphoniums... in the beginning of the melody the euphoniums started the song then switched off with the trombones and supported with the bass line. Notice the bells of the tuba are down
This video is trash, too. There are parts that have been cut out or skipped, however, this is my first time watching a presentation by "LIFEWITHNATE." You've got to do better.
I am a great Texas Southern band fan, but this is the worst 5th quarter I have heard from Texas Southern. They tried to be different for Jackson State, and they have made a complete mess of it.
Ill roll with Dallas...Maab look like all college & post college men & women so i expected them to sound cleaner & more powerful....Dallas looks mixed with younger middle, high schoolers still learnin plus Dallas dnt have no HBCU close by to feed on for members....Regulators just need to mere with N.O. ...but hey this just my opinion....Maab loss points for tryin to play over Regulators Maab should of just battled against N.O. & GAM since they thought they in the wrong field battle..but again just my opinion
Maab is not all college ppl we have high schoolers just like evb else , and txsu and pv is close to Dallas so they do have hbcus close to them and did you actually think we get to pick who we go against on the field?
@@ds_antun9051 I said they’re close, pv and txsu are both in Texas but not directly in Dallas just like the hbcus in Mississippi are not directly in Jackson. The only one directly in Jackson is jsu.
There is the same advantage for Nosab, they didn't have a "MEET". They wanted everyone to hear them for the first time with MMB!....Now whats the excuse now?...Chess not Checkers
@@cchisolm92cc so let me ask you this did MAAB have any of these factors: Intonation,Musicality, Execution, phrasing, Balance, interpretation, playing in tune etc….for the most part MAAB does not sound good it sounds like a baritone choir baritones the loudest but it’s overbearing you can’t hear you guys upper brass and if we do hear them they hanging over clearly yall don’t gaf about summer band sounding good yall tubas nice as well but other then that it still not balanced say what you want I don’t have anything against maab but yall not finna sit here and tell me maab sounds better then gamb I march for gamb we practice on those principles that I was asking about before that is my opinion of maab just loud asf with no balance Argue with ya mama when you disagree 😎🫠🤘🏾
And pretty much everything you hear for the first time is gonna be better than hearing something performed for the second time.. that was GAMB biggest advantage
@@zacharybush8318 hell yea, I was expecting them to come with it.. they did not disappoint. My NOASB lack of discipline was crazy, renegade cymbal and tuba players ruined it for me
😂😂😂 naw bruh MAAB was trying so hard to be heard they didn’t care who they were interrupting! Bullying not even close! GAMB clearly was the better band among everyone there!
I agree 2022 gamb gave me 2019 Jackson vibes where the sound was so polished and good but they left you wanting more sometimes from the aggression aspect but 2024 gamb is like 2023 Jackson where they give you much more aggression but still finesse better than the rest when needed
