Do most of the Victory hook eyes have that gap where it's not completely connected? This is a good tip to help close the gap. I hate that when you're fishing for panfish and your light line with a loop knot separates from the hook.
Once again....trying to help others SJ. You cease to amaze me! I will be honest....this is one head I will not fall for. I have been making hover rigs for over 25 years by using lead tape and a piece of aluminum pin. I realize the head design is for FFS though. I guess after fishing for over years I am old school and don't use FFS. I know all the pro's do but that might be coming to an end soon. That flash you put on the jig head is just example of how you go beyond the traditional jig tier. Little tricks like this can make all the difference in the world when minutes counts. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your time.
Another SJ masterpiece. Good to see all the videos coming out even though I haven’t been able to watch many recently. Like the combination of materials and colors
Alright SJ...I couldn't stand it. I ordered the mold today. You know me.....I am a finnesse fisherman and this head intrigues me. I wish they made it in a 3/16. I love how compact it is. Not sure how long it will last because Barlows says for limited time only. I have a feeling it will me my main go to head. And yes.....I used your code for credit. SMALLJAW!
Thanks for sharing Dan. Sounds of your voice and you having fun tying jigs makes me think you are feeling somewhat better. Really like that color combo.
Thank you for your continued support Bryan!!! I am feeling better, on my good days I can go a full 2 hours before the pain gets too bad. That alone makes me happy but it allows me to concentrate and be more creative!!
Great stuff as usual, Dan. I'm always sure to put SMALLJAW in my affiliate code when I order. I usually buy between $200-$400 per month from Barlows. Hope it helps you out. Keep up the great videos....thanks again!!!
