Yes. It work on all KOF. I know this skill back in 1997, when i first play KOF n use clark. After all the years, this is still useful for all the character that got command grab super.
This scene makes me feel sad... Alucard knows the truth Simon still ignores, and when he extends his hand to caress him in a oh-so-fatherly way... It broke my heart.
Just for all the ppl who dont know it this saga of castlevania is unofficial.cause theres a different timeline at all and cant make sense if you remember the original plot alucard helped trevor grant and sypha to defear.dracula and alucard has his own game explainig his origins
OK, let me rephrase then - they are not tools for being selfish and having the right to express themselves, they are tools for trashing anything that goes against their personal ideas of what a game should or should not be.
No I agree with everything you said up until the "Their own selfish desires." Point. I'm only alive because I decided to be selfish. Indeed, it was because I chose selfishness to begin with that i stopped being a tool to begin with. I disagree with fans wanting the same thing over and over again, but don't call people out for doing what they have a right to do. nothing wrong with being selfish, it's making other people suffer in the act that's wrong. Like the fans of metroidvania.
In the trailers for the new game, after Gabriel wastes an entire army and meets Alucard once more. He actually smiles, like he already knows how his story will end. Darkness never wins, and he's accepted this. I guess deep down he does feel some remorse for what he was become and just wants to die by the hands of his descendants as punishment for his deeds.
Kind of sad, when trevor confronted him he probably barely cared about destroying the world, and was simply trying to keep the monsters of the world in check. sure, they killed in his honor, but he was more focused on keeping the beasts in check than he was trying to do harm to humanity, indeed, at that moment he was protecting them. you could say trevor was that final straw, the moment when he truly began to hate mankind for everything they did to him.
