Fucking awesome race, the Giro D'Lombardia always is. Why would Vockler do what he did? well maybe it might have worked and thats what I like about that guy, he would take a gamble, get his team a ton of attention and maybe be in contention. In this case it was crazy but he achieved a lot for his employer, excited the fans and ramped up the excitement for a great finale for the real contenders. Rodriguez showed his class while the jersey stealer, Costa , was nowhere. This is a race where the real World Champ, won the race, with style.

I'd love to move from the US to Italy and be surrounded by world class cycling, great food, historical sites, getting to watch many very big and smaller races and just immersing my passionate cycling self into riding roads where my pro cycling heroes have ridden. I've watched Madonna del Ghisallo videos here on RU-vid and you can just feel the posiyive spirit of that cathedral and cycling shrine. Thank you for putting this great video of the Race of the Falling Leaves so we fans and cyclists can witness the beauty of Italy and magnificence that is this race.

Watching this seeing a normal bloke who comes across as decent compared to that huge ego of Wiggins and his paul Weller wanna be haircut and stupid little RAF lookalike trademark. Wish Froome had attacked Wiggins and left him for shit in 2012

mostly because of the geography, high plateau allows you to get much more endurance. Most high plateau anywhere else in the world are too cold to run well. It's one of the best place on earth to become a beast at endurance yeah.

Anti cycling nutjobs, they are out there, or maybe people who didnt like the real World Champ win the race. Rodriguez was robbed of the World Champ jerzey by that imposter, Costa. Just watch the Worlds road race that year, Porito was the winner.

Do people remember how Froome was hardly known in the UK prior to the build up of the Tour de France? Then when he won it, suddenly he's British! Oh yes, "our Chris"!
@mynaamiskaas
@mynaamiskaas 7 лет назад
LOL! True! Same thing happened to Brad Wiggins after winning the tour... He said he went out on the road from his house, everyday to train. People didn't bat an eyelid, then after winning the Tour, apparently he could barely get out his driveway
@tronable
@tronable 7 лет назад
Youre being ridiculous, thats just because he was playing second fiddle to Bradley Wiggins before. The cycling world was well of Chris Froome before he ever won the tour. regular people only hear about the winner of the tour.
@justbreakingballs
@justbreakingballs 6 лет назад
Jan-Harm van der Merwe yeh and what were they meant to do? OMG look an unknown cyclist like a million others let’s go nuts. What’s hard to understand about winning a huge sporting event then being well known? Are you simple or something?
@hillsview455
@hillsview455 10 лет назад
This guy should not be allowed to race, fucking always sick all the time, chest lungs infection and always taking steriods to fix it. That's very unfair for other normal riders. Taking daily medications such as leratadine, salbutamol, ventolin and fluticasone. This guy is a walking pharmaceutical zombie!! Fluticasone is a fucking synthetic steriod btw FYI.
@hillsview455
@hillsview455 10 лет назад
Are you fucking serious? Fluticasone is a synthetic corticosteroid(cortisone), look at what happened to Horner at Vuelta right now, he is out!
@xavierlaurier4552
@xavierlaurier4552 10 лет назад
hillsview455 Well you sure are stupid... Chris Horner was allowed to participate by the UCI because, just like Chris Froome, this was the result of a treatment and therefore, is cortisol level was not the result of a performance enhancing drug. Chris Froome's medication does not enhance his performance in any way.
@hillsview455
@hillsview455 10 лет назад
Are you an idiot? Have you seen how many times did Froome used his inhaler on stage 20 alone in Vuelta? 10 times! That is over dosing, even the doctors will not allow you that! It's very clear that he is abusing his medicines to gain an advantage. Fucking guy is always sniffing cortisol that's why he climbs erratic. Have you ever seen a cyclist who got dropped and got back to the leaders group again and leading the charge? Yes I think you did, that was in Lance Armstrong time when mostly everybody was doping.
@synapse131
@synapse131 9 лет назад
hillsview455 "Have you ever seen a cyclist who got dropped and got back to the leaders group again and leading the charge?" Many, many, many times. I have experienced it myself many times. Sometimes I just wasn't warmed up completely. Others times I bonked or partially bonked and ate enough food to get glycogen back into the muscles. There are multiple reasons why that could occur. It's one thing to be suspicious, it's another to become so jaded that you ignore reality.
@synapse131
@synapse131 9 лет назад
Oh, and if you can get an actual performance boost from an inhaler, good luck. They don't even work well for their intended purpose, asthma (cannabis works 100X better for exercise induced asthma.) Maybe, if used with a shitload of other things, it might give a slight boost.
