we have always just cooked on paper towels & as soon as you lift the pot off the cook zone area the indcution for that zone shuts down. We cover the ceramic top with a 36x30inch silicon pad to protect it & to allow for more space to serve foods. I’ve found that cooking over our large silicon pad reduces the strength of the cook zone.
@@patricklewis8591 I have a similar video demonstrating baking paper. You are correct. A large silicone pad moves the metal to the edge of induction effectiveness. We use the thin pads.
The one I have takes the butane canister that looks like an aeorsol can and has what looks like a gas jet connector on the side. I've yet to determine if that's a gas jet like a bunson burner or some air inlet.
@@Linus007 , it's one of those no name jobs from Amazon. The frame on these are mostly the same except sometimes the color and they slap a brand name on it. It takes the canister and to the side has that brass fitting that from looking at another video, it is indeed a gas inlet which I doubt is up to code in the US. Saw a guy hook a rubber hose to a gas regular up to it and running it.
could this work with a low pressure regulator? the one i can purchase where i live has 7 kgf/cm² (100 psi) in and 0.028 kgf/cm² (0.4 psi) out and a flow of 0.8 m³/h
@@Linus007 When you started mentioning the weight differences, I immediately thought of the billionaire who was informing the interviewer how it’s made. 😆 It just gave me the vibes. Honestly though, I’d buy this for my grandfather if he’s into it, but I’d have to run on by him first.
@@McClungMichaell Awesome! I bet it was a real pain until you found out that the gasket was causing the issue. We are so happy that you found a solution from our video.
Yes. In this case, the stove is dual fuel. It came with the propane attachment. I ordered that same attachment for a different project to make propane very portable: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tSTJt7aI05U.htmlsi=q6mNhb9NbAe03Kgl
Neat, but damn heavy for the gram counters. Butane is a VERY safe fuel and not a high pressure fuel like propane. The "non refillable" part, I get, but..... the only worry I would have refilling butane canisters is leakage. I think that can be solved with a simple cap with a sealing washer. Then over pressure with no relief would be your bugaboo. But if I recall correctly, butane is under 50 psi at 110F. Not a major safety issue as long as you don't over fill. Feel free to correct me, please.
@@mikemorgan5015 great comment and you are correct. We purchased this container and use it for long term use. We wanted a sturdy UNEF lindal valve. We are not using it in our backpack journeys. For that we use the 350 g cooking butane canisters. We keep this one handy for camping or car trips. The first time we filled this canister was from a lighter refill canister that was laying on the stairs at my kid’s apartment complex.
Wait hang on a minute how do you turn the light on because I can't figure that out I can turn the fan on and off but I cannot find out how to turn the light on
@@letsdothis3332 Good question. A long press of the power button turns on the light. Another long press of the light causes it to flash. I recommend covering the light during this stage. It is dazzling to look at that flashing light. One more long press off the light. Thank you so much for watching the video and I hope this information is useful to you.
You are such a lifesaver! I really mean that! I was flabbergasted on how to do so, since I haven't done it in awhile. At point 2:04 in your RU-vid video taught me again on how to take my Cosco 4 in1 hand truck out of Assist Mode. No Video that I have watched so far not even the Original Cosco 4 in1 hand truck RU-vid video show exactly how to take the 4 in 1 hand truck out of Assist Mode, at least not that I saw, and I've watched several videos in order to do so. You are awesome! Thank you so much! This such a relief!
Many people claim that it has a coating on the inside (where the water boils) and that it rusts after a couple of months.Have you experienced something similar?
@@Linus007 yea its not the same, I just had a walk through with their techs, you cant just stick shipping labels into the printer, it works, its great, but you need to place the paper into the printer with a tad sticking out or it will start taking some paper into the printer automatically, which results in prints cropped, , this is what they told me Hello Gabriel, Due to the design of the printer, if you put the label paper directly into the printer, it will absorb a little more paper before printing. The A4 thermal paper for ITP01 has two black marks on it, which helps the printer find the start and end of printing. Since other thermal papers do not have black marks, this problem will occur. This is why we do not recommend using ITP01 to print label paper. I have attached a newly recorded video using an iPhone and manually feeding the paper to avoid the label paper being absorbed a little more before printing. Thank you.
@@Linus007 they are trying to control what paper you use by adding two dots on he paper and claiming the printer needs them to detect the paper size, which is bogus, you have brackets from what I saw, so why , to sell their own paper., on the Munbyn A4 you need to place the label inside the printer just a tad above or out the other side or it will suck a few inches before printing., other wise the print will be cropped into another label
We had that kero stove years ago, I think it was an Optimus 00. The first time i tried lighting it I was in the kitchen, had to go running through the house for the front door with a ball of fire in my hands and had to toss it in the front yard haha. Had a little more respect for it after that.
I can’t thank you enough! I am a complete beginner mowing lawns and was about to use a 16 gauge extension cord until I heard you say that I could basically ruin my motor! I’m quickly returning it for a 14 gauge extension cord. Looking forward to eventually getting my lawn done…😅
@@enriquepadilla8826 Yes of course. The scale we use: amzn.to/3yBUiyy The thank holds 110 grams of butane. We recommend weighing it while it is empty. Write the weight on the tank. Add 110g to the tank weight and that is your limit. You can use the tare feature on the scale. We think it is easier to weigh without using the tare button. The reason is that the tank takes time to fill and your scale will turn off while you fill. As Amazon Associates, we earn from qualifying purchases. @@Linus007 Thank you for providing the link and the note about weighing and writing the weight on the canister. I understand the limit is 110g for isobutane but will this change if I were to fill it with propane? I carry a 5lb propane bottle on my travels and would be easier to refill with propane. Thanks.
@@mpomerlo the IOS app works well, and we use that most often. The drivers for windows also are supported for this printer, and you must connect the printer with the USB cable. We have used this method only a few times. It supports the predefined paper sized and custom sizes.
I have the SodaStream Terra. With the adapter it still sprays but at the top were it connects to the SodaStream not the bottomthat attaches to the bottle were the seal is in the adapter. How can I prevent this?
Lawyer speak on not refilling store bought 1lb propane bottles. The confusion added when they say its illegal to transport, but then how do you get home with it or go camping with it if you have to drive there? Who can tell you refilled the 1lb tank?
The law is speaks to those who transport a one time use propane container that was refilled. Regarding who can tell, there are lots of videos of people refilling containers that are not refillable and they are showing this online. Somebody in law enforcement could review that video and then catch one of those people transporting the containers. We cannot speak too much to this since we are not in law-enforcement. We just know that it is a risky thing to do. We talk about the specific laws in the link below. greyscale.zone/flame-king-refillable-tank.html
You can buy one pound refillable cylinders and they are totally legal , I bought a one pound cylinder and a two pound refillable cylinder and If transporting you can throw your 25 pounder into your vehicle and refill the smaller ones as needed. Not a problem.
@Chainsaw2373 they say the refillable ones for $15 each so you feel they are legal only because they don't want you to go the less expensive way. Once an original propane tank is refilled, is there anyone who can tell its been refilled? I bet not!
Unfortunately between moving houses ive lost the mulching plug in and it seems to be impossible to find another online. What are your thoughts on using the mower without the plug? Or do you have any suggestions where i can find a replacement plug? Please anyone that sees this and has an idea or a link let me know. I dont want to buy a new mower just for mulching
Yes but the reason for Propane is that Butane boils at -1 degree C compared to Propane at -42 C. Basically Butane stops working (stops being a gas) if the temps are below freezing. Propane is at 4 times the pressure of Butane so needs the thicker stronger heavier canisters.
So, you transfer the contents of a throw-away butane canister to a heavier reusable canister -- and then throw away the first canister. I'm having a problem seeing the advantage.
@@Sirrehpotsirch you can fill it from much larger butane canisters. Another option is to fill it from portable stove canisters that are much less expensive. This type of heavier tank is used for the small camping stoves that screw directly on top of the butane canister . The final option is to consolidate multiple partially filled tank canisters into this one. The point is that this destination canister is much stronger.
