Hiya hope you still check the comeent and question. Got a camry with no backlight on the buttons, hazrad radio, ac, steering wheel and windows switches. Schematics says its either bad body control or bad radio, because radio display goes dim based on light level... What do you thinks its the problem? Chnage the radio out?
06 Chevy Colorado, New APP, new PCM, new TC, wires from APP to PCM good, Wires to TC Good, when starting from PCM reset (battery cleared) a 5v reference and correlation APP1-2 Code will Apear and Reduced Power mode is Activated. Live data shows high reference, low reference, correct angles and percentages, clear codes and everything shows agreement. Drives normal and well. Shut off and wait for PCM to reset and it throws the codes again. The pins match the wiring diagram I have but I’m wondering if the PCM is reading the fault then adjusting to correlate and that’s why it goes into agreement offer resetting the codes. However once the pcm resets it recognizes the original fault and before it adjusts to the wrong calibrations it throws the code. Then after I clear the code it stays calibrated until the ignition cycle resets the PCM. Very important vehicle, regular mechanics don’t want to deal with it. Have read and noted values at all 12 wires for 0 throttle and full. Seems correct. I have 3 pedals, two throttle bodies, 2 pcms, the wires were all pinned the same as the diagram I have and none where changed before the problem started. Is there a relay that could effect the APP sensor at ignition, maybe a power surge at startup, is there a relearn for the PCM could it have changed somehow?
what im tryi g to figure out are the numbers on the sides of the board with large holes and no accompanying prefix, They appear to be for where wires are attached. But they are in discontinuous order. They jump around in 3's. most of all seemingly no i fo for where the would be wires go to or the type of wire to be used
as a total beginner you seriously explained absolutely nothing i couldnt already figure out on my own, on top of that you seem to repeat the same thing over and over, my god we may be beginners but we wernt born yesterday!
Hi, I am in the process of repairing the mass air flow sensor connector wiring. As a result of the mice messing around, I cut the wires off the connector side, leaving approximately two inches for each wire attached to the connector. I thought each wire was a different color, but I was surprised to find two wires of the same color. I drive a 2006 Infiniti M35 with a maf sensor that has 5 wires in this order from left to right: red, black/white, white, yellow/green, black/white, so I connected the 3 different colored wires and was left confused about the two Of the same color. I tried connecting this to this and vice versa and I did not feel any difference. I also tested them with a multimeter and they both gave the same measurement. So if you have any idea or suggestion that can help, I would be appreciative. thank you
The chips u n find with a mouse they need the connection then it works chip lights the mouse and the plug its rely puts the electricty in the chip.. . When every third strip is touched it lights , i put the wires in the hmh like it went frim 3 to so its every after the one that happens the 1st after than 1 after tdogdth .. after . Every one that goes the other ones go to the sauder.. ❤ . (:. We hav light.. yeA..
I'm working on a chevy with the same exact diagram you have here. I am not getting anything coming out of the PCM on the IC Timing circuit. I've checked cam and crank sensors....its all working correctly. So I replaced and programmed a new PCM. Still....no signal coming out of PCM on IC Timing Control. What am I missing? Please help 🙏
You know, nowday it much easier to just swap and isolate the board to troubleshoot because like you said no one want to stay hours just to find the faulty components. Even if you want to do it, it take years and tons of knowledge before you can start for actual repair. It becoming lost art and I can't blame it being forgotten.
Do you know about, how to read the program inside a microchip? I heard the firms can read secret probrams of Pics. What are the keywords of thise topic ?
Heavily depends on what you're looking for and what you're reading it from. Logic Analyzers can do a good job. Some memory can be accessed differently or interfaced in other ways. But it's not really a beginner topic in most cases, there also are security measures against doing just that. But good luck!
It might not be cost-effectie in automotive, but brother- believe me, it's more than cost-effective in other things. As a result of this, I managed to find a few loose connections on my $400 dollar AMD GPU! THANK YOU!
Thank you Joseph, for sharing your knowledge Can you make a video on how to make a computer transmission work when you replace the fuel injection system with a carburetor?
