Thank you so much, this video helped a ton! Also shout out to someone else in the comments for mentioning changing the wdm to 1024, that was the final peice to fix my problem.
My problem was having another audio device that wasn't connected. I just pressed A2 in voicemeter and did remove selected device. And the stuttering stopped.
I just reinstalled Voice Meeter twice. I didn't install it correctly the first time, I forgot to install the cable again. The second time it didn't work either and instead of reinstalling it, I reset it to the initial setting after it didn't work with my settings and I only set the cable as an input and put it on A1 and connected it to my Realtek speakers connected in the output. So I first checked whether it worked at all. worked and then I reloaded my settings and lo and behold, it worked for me. Maybe reset settings first before reinstalling.
The most common solution in the comments is to adjust your buffering settings. I didn't realize this at the time of recording, so I apologize. All credit goes to @MDelawson. I keep getting comments like this, so I'll probably end up taking this video down so people will stop repeating the same thing
I still think this is a good alternative for those who can't afford Elevenlabs, and unlike them, Play HT won't ban ppl for creating multiple free accounts (as of right now)
Voicemeeter has updated to work both on Mac and PC within the same download package. Make sure you are downloading the correct version of the virtual audio cable, as there are still separate versions for both platforms.
@@Banez87 nope, your link , mediafire or banez vm settings is bringing in a betting site, corrected it is an out of date word document that cannot be converted. cable macdriver downloads a single page but not voicemeeter which on their page only shows as exe file
You don't need my links. You may have to visit vb-audio.com and download the cable and VM from there. The settings are pretty simple, just adjust the color panel. This video is pretty old. I've uploaded an updated version recently, so maybe check that out if you're still confused. Good luck!
If nothing in the video ends up working for you, the most common solution in the comments has been to adjust your buffering settings. So, if your virtual audio cable is set to WDM, then increase your WDM buffering settings until the issue stops. If your audio cable is set to MME, then do the same to your MME buffering settings. I hope this helps!
@@Banez87 absolutely! I’ve really wanted to improve the sound on my blue yeti for making videos so I got this app but had the jitter issues. I found doing what you’ve done and then changing the virtual cable from WDM to MME fixed it
I cannot find audiodg.exe in my task manager, it seems to not be running, any idea why that is?? i also can't seem to turn it on so im not sure what to do in this case
You should see it if you open your task manager as administrator. Honestly, I would try to adjust your buffering settings before anything. Ppl in the comments have been having success with that.
The only time I adjusted my mic volume was inside of Streamlabs. If you use a limiter or compressor, that should keep your levels from peaking while streaming. Hope this helps!
i changed my buffering mme to the max, and somehow it actually fixed it if anyone has a issue just try it it worked for me after trying literally eveyything
Found a random forum from 2020 that mentioned upping the WDM buffering from 512 to 640 in the voicemeeter settings. That didnt help, but figured id try upping it a ton and went to 1024 and its crystal clear. idk what that setting changes, but sounds good either way!
I'm not 100% sure either. Adjusting the sample rate and the CPU is what really helped my situation. My current buffering settings are MME 1024 WDM 480 KS 512 That seems to work for my current setup.
Like I said, those solutions helped me with my stuttering issue, but unfortunately they may not work for everyone. Here's one of the videos I used for research. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zQ1B9A5eX5g.html If it doesn't work, you may have an underlying issue that needs to be addressed. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
I DO NOT CLAIM TO BE AN AUDIO EXPERT! These are just the settings that helped my issue. This fix SHOULD work in all versions of VoiceMeeter. Drop a comment if you have any questions or if you have any other topics you'd like me to cover!
I've run into this issue also and I plan on making a video on it. Short answer is, voicemeeter needs to run on only one core in your CPU, preferably one that isn't being resourced a ton. I hope this helps!
Buying used products is always a Gamble. If you can save the extra $30 I would go for the Blue snowball iCE. The Razer Seiren mini is also a great budget option!
