How many did you fit there? I have nearly 500 bottles of glitter and am trying to reorganize to make more space. I’m working in a basement and can’t really be hanging things on the concrete walls, so I was thinking about doing this inside shelves.
I'm not sure how many are in this video but I have added on a few times since this! I like it because I can shape it to whatever I want. I could have gone around my turner system or window or really whatever! 💚
Great tutorial, I've been wanting to make my own burst template for a while! If you hold shift, click and drag your selected item will move in a straight line so you won't have to use the arrow key.
I HAVE been shying away from digital images on Etsy because of the colors….but you gave me the confidence to do it🤗. I’m new to Cricut design space but I think I can do it. I appreciate you 🙏
That's awesome! I struggle with being limited lol so I'm always trying to push my limits I guess lol I wish I could help more with Cricut related stuff but I'm like a fish out of water when it comes to that stuff!
Yup!! I am currently using this printer that I got in March of 2022 that prints crisp clear colorful images on waterslides BEAUTIFULLY! amzn.to/3rCiRs1
I absolutely love the wood grain and sawdust is brilliant! I'm going to try one, just a thought, how about putting the sawdust in a coffee grinder, so it's finer. Oh, I just got another idea, how about using coffee grounds, for a coffee themed cup?!!!🎉 Love your channel, subscribed.❤
Thank you so much! There was much finer sawdust in my hubby's shop, but I was concerned it wouldn't really LOOK like sawdust.but let me know how it looks it you try it!! Also I have used, dried out coffee clouds to look like dirt but that's a great idea to use coffee grounds for a coffee themed cup! Can't wait to see what you create! And thankbyou sobmuch for subscribing! It means the world to me!
Not all of this is NECCESSARY, these are just things that have made my life easier! I've never done resin art per se, but tumblers DEFINITELY have my heart! Lol I would suggest picking one project and getting the supplies for that and then building from there! It's an amazing craft!
@alottletumblertutorials I have most things already. Not only am I into resin, I'm into everything art. I was just shocked of how much you were showing.
I would imagine every state is a little different but for me I filed my business name with the state of Montana. I run mine out of my house and where I live I didn't need any special permits or anything but you might check with your city or county to make sure. You definitely want to open a business checking account and keep all money coming and out separate from regular household money. It makes getting ready for taxes A LOT easier lol talk to your accountant to see if a sole proprietor or an llc would be right for your situation. Ummmm ... thats all I can think of for the big items... if there's something specific please don't hesitate to ask.
So it looks like this whole etsy shop is gone! That's soooo sad! She had some amazing images! I did a search on etsy using the keywords "American bass tumbler wrap" and came up with this... it's not the exact one but still pretty cool! You might also type in these key words and see if something else might catch your eye too! Anyway, I hope this helps! Please let me know if there's anything else I can do! www.etsy.com/listing/1432650979/american-flag-bass-fishing-20-oz-tumbler?click_key=b06f2d406a5d64075132a15c11dd6f0d7b13b038%3A1432650979&click_sum=fc43bef6&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=american+bass+tumbler+wrap&ref=sr_gallery-1-5&organic_search_click=1
That's awesome! It is DEFINITELY a hit around here too! My hubby uses it 1-2 times every week and seems to get compliments on it STILL! Lol im so glad this video blessed you!
@charoletteduffy6797 Yes, it has! I check it every time I wash it, and there is not even a crack at the base where I THOUGHT it would be the most vulnerable! He uses this cup once or twice a week. It's still one of his favorites!
@@alottletumblertutorials That's awesome! Thank you so much for the update and for answering! Did you sand in between the uv / epoxy layers or use a matte spray in between layers? Thanks again for responding, I really appreciate it!
@@JC-lj4gs I didn't sand between building the layers of the uv where the lure met the cup. Just kept building and cureing a little at a time. And then used regular epoxy over that and the cup.
Hi there! I use Artistry Epoxy! And here is a direct link! Make sure to use ATT10 at checkout to save 10%! Thank you so much for watching! artistryepoxy.com/shop/epoxy-resin/tumbler/?epoxy=47
@Sicily Kone you wanna seal that waterslide and vinyl with something before applying your epoxy so that it doesn't repel you epoxy and cause divets or fisheyes as your epoxy cures. If you didn't want to use the Polycrylic that I do in this video you could also seal with a few light coats of clear spraypaint or something like that. I hope this answers your question! ❤❤❤
Your cup is amazing as well as your instructions. Thank you! I followed the instructions on sealing and I’m using the exact same products you listed as far as paper and sealer. The problem is when I put the pics in water they still dissolve in the water. Could you offer any tips to prevent this? TIA!
Oh no! Im so sorry honey! Maybe your coats of clear spray were a little lighter than mine? Maybe do a few more coats if you think that might be the case? Also make sure to print on the right side of the warerslide... it could cause this problem as well... ASK me how I KNOW lol
@@alottletumblertutorials 🤣😂 yes it was the correct side. I did that already too. 🤣😂 I will try to seal the pictures better. Thank you so much for your response!! 🫶🏾
I have used both, but I like the thick viscosity with the 1:1 ratio so I don't accidently mess up on the mix ratio. It's a convenience thing for me but both are great!
So appreciate this video. My daughter has started doing some of these tumblers and I am going to get her to watch this as well. One question…when is the cup safe enough to give to your customers. Thank you again and I love your tumblers you create.😊
Awww, you are soooo welcome! And I always wait for 3 days after the final coat before I hand it off to a customer! Congratulations to your daughter! This is a fun and rewarding and sometimes challenging hobby. But the smiles on the faces of people that receive a custom handmade product are sooooo worth it! Thank you so much for watching!
Hello 👋 It is nice to learn a little bit about the creators on RU-vid. I to was in a very bad car accident in 2017, and can no longer work. I almost lost my left leg, but it full of metal now. I did learn how to walk again after 3 surgeries. Was determined to get out of that wheelchair. I am on disability, but I need something to do with my time. I use to work 50 to 60 hours a week before the accident. I was a manager at the Murphy gas station here in Tennessee. I'm planning to move back home this year. Which is Washington State. So I bought me a cricut and did so shirts and decals for cars. But now I want to do tumblers and more. I purchase Crystalac grande finale and Artistry epoxy to try and see what I like better. I don't have a garage, so I have to do in my house. My mom lives with us and she uses a breathing machine. So I guess my question is...Would Artistry epoxy be safe to use around her? I watched their video and they say no smell and safe to use. What is your opinion on that? I'm thinking I might have to use crystalac. I found your video by googling Artistry epoxy tumblers. I think you are the only one that uses it. Cause everyone else uses KS resin and such. What do you think? Good or bad for my mom in the house? Thank you in advance for your opinion...
Hi there! My gosh, it sounds like you have been through QUITE the battle! I am soooo sorry for all you have experienced, but it sounds like you have such a great outlook on your life! That can be LITERALLY life-saving in and of itself! So good! And with the epoxy, we have to keep in mind that this is a chemical reaction that is happening as the 2 parts cure. So, while each individual part is not toxic, the chemical reaction has components that can still lead to problems like respiratory issues, allergic reactions, dermatitis, and things of that nature. Some people have used it with out the personal protective equipment and have never had any issues, but each person's chemical makeup is different. I would always error on the side of caution, especially with our families' well-being at stake. I hope this helps!there is also another epoxy alternative product called "Hyperion" that I will be testing next month that is sold by Grateful Glitters that you may want to also investigate. It has AMAZING epoxy like shine but is said to be totally safe! God bless you for all you are going through, and I pray He continues to keep your mind positive and your body healing! Thank you so so much for watching!
I have never personally used a heat gun, so unfortunately, I can't attest to that part. I feel like the flame does 2 things 1. Heats the epoxy to being the bubbles to the surface to pop and 2. Helps to suck the oxygen, further eliminating the bubbles. The key is to not let the flame sit in and one area. Keep it moving! I hope this helped answer your question!
I just purchased Artistry epoxy. Do you have a video on how long you wait between coats, or can you tell me? Very very new to this. Your the first RU-vid video using Artistry epoxy.
With Fast Set you can recoat in 45 min to one hour. For regular Artistry Epoxy, I do the 2nd part of my flood coat in the 4-6 hour range. Thank you so much for a great question!
@@alottletumblertutorials do you remember what size you printed the white vinyl and the picture ? I want to make this for my mother in law . Her son passed away and she would love this
@Jamie Pfeiffer oh my gosh I can't even IMAGINE losing a child! I am soooo sorry for your family's loss honey! This video here explains how I created the picture part of this tumbler. I hope it's helpful! I will be praying for your family FOR SURE! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wvAM6fvwGxk.html
