Hey you are hilarious I’m digging your content you sure your not an undercover spokesperson personality 🧐 if not you need to be keep it going great video 😁
I swear, March was a total flop for me as well. the slump to end all slumps. Was primarily going through flatshare difficulties, a stranger was sleeping on my couch for 2 weeks (I'm not kidding, I don't fucking know this person, my roomie just invited them). I also had my first exam coming up. So overall not a lot of reading was done. But April is here and we👏 are 👏getting 👏out of thiiiiis👏 Youre doing great! 🩷
I took a hot girl walk today ( after cycling & weight training @ the gym though, so more of a cool down walk). I listened to audiobook If We Were Villians on my library’s Hoopla……thanks for the music content! Love love the first jam! Adding it to my playlist also……great vid. Keep grinding girlie 🌸.
Okay but literally if I hear one more person say this album isn't real country ... I'm gonna lose it (like come on her cover of Jolene is literally everything) Also this video made me realize I've never read a western romance book, but now I'm excited to jump into the genre!
She’s also Black, the banjo is African, and the whole genre is from us!!! We never left it. She highlighted small Black Country artists and a classic act and I love that
Author Monica Walters has an entire series and a spin off Urban Cowboy Series. The first book is 8 Seconds to Love. The spin off is the Country Hood Love Series - Henderson Family Series. They feature the black rodeo and are pretty good.
I been on booktok since like late 2019 early 2020 knew from being on it for 2 weeks i needed find other black people and queer people ect. because it became clear very fast that they weren't being pushed at all, which is why i always tell people booktok is just an umbrella term, and you need to find your specific community on there. And to explain what happen on booktube in 2020 with black creators they were being used and tokenised by book companies and youtube so everyone shared thier experiences on here because they were creating trend and had creative content that white creators saw and were steal them, also because of the protest going on a lot of black creators were getting subs and people were rightfully mad that it's really weird and annoying that in order for people to like, watch,or subscribe black people have to be suffering to be given the respect we truly deserved.
Thank you so much for your recommendations, Ebony. I got some book recommendations from this video but a good majority of the books mentioned I have on my TBR. Thank you 😚💕
this was such a good conversation on the booktok algorithm,/book Tok rec is like the random powerup box in Mario kart you do not know what your going to get
New subbie here! I have been binge watching your videos. I love your content. Can’t wait to see more content from you. I love that you read black Indie Authors! We don’t have enough creators that support black indie authors ❤
I'm new here and loved the video! You should check out Alexandria House's St. Louis Sires series. It's a black hockey romance. Also, read Talia Hibbert's YA book first. It was super cute!
This was such a fun vlog to watch!! I love The Rise and Fall series. A. E. Valdez doesn’t miss!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 And you are absolutely right Asher is a top tier book boyfriend and A Worthy love is one of my favorite romances ever!! 🥰🥰🥰
I'm so with you on not liking romance based on animosity. Like I'm supposed to want these people to be with each other why are you making me hate the dude???
I don’t remember this book being labeled as a erotica, but it was happening so much🤣 I highly recommend “all I’ve wanted all I’ve needed” and “worthy love”🫶🏾🥰
