He mentioned early on there was no lubrication, I'm guessing he lubricated it to loosen the mechanism and allow it to work. Some silicon lubricant from Walmart should do the trick, automotive aisle, a tiny dab should do the trick.
I just got this same dvd player and I'm pretty sure the motor that controls the DVD drive belt is dead. I took the entire drive apart and I can tell drive belt motor is not rotating while powered.
I just verified it isn't the motor. To test the part out I de-soldered the motor wires and ran the motor on a 9v battery. So its some issue with the DVD board like a dead capacitor there is a slim chance its some issue with the flex cable. Also the drive does play DVDs, the only issue is that the disc tray wont eject.
This thing is an absolute piece of garbage. My friend saw it at a thrift store & against my advice, just had to have it. It dumps a ton of light out the side. If you end up with a used one of these, do yourself a favor & order some LED bulbs for it. 1/10th the power consumption and a whole lot less heat. You may not find the same color accuracy with available LED's vs the halogen but with so much less heat production, you can make a reflective tube that fits between the lamp & the columnator lens & stop wasting light. There's no dust protection either so if you tear into it, you may as well clean the lenses as they will probably be dusty enough that is makes a difference. There are mini projectors way better than this thing for $40 now. So unless it's a thrift store buy, don't bother.
FYI: I have this same model and it had the same problem with the on/off button. I took the button out and coated the back of it with white silicone sealer then let it sit for a couple days then I put it back together and BOOM......problem fixed. It now turns on and off every time I press the button!
I'm not using my epson projector model number EB-440W Without a Walmart I mean I'm not using it on the ceiling I'm using it on the floor But the pictures turn upside down Please can someone help me to turn it
hello kevin , i sold my yaba projector to a freind, because i had trouble setting the controls , im an artist , and when i set it up it was fine so i started to draw, when i came back to it the next day, switched it on, the drawing had moved, and i never moved the projector, or my easel , why is this, hope you can help out, i have just orderd a voplls native 5g it comes this monday , hope you can help, love your channel , kind regards trevor .
Horrible advise, Keystone distorts you image badly. Always place projector as centered and in level as possible. If projector is properly setup there is no need for Keystone.
I’ve been wanting to own a projector for some time now. Does placement needs to be center of the screen? What if i place it on the corner of the room? Can I still alight the image on the screen? Thanks.
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ru-vid.comUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
I grew up on the full screen version of the movie when it aired on TNT often. Now I own the 2012 Blu-Ray deluxe set that has the black bars. I think it's a bit better. I did read that the movie was filmed in 4:3 but cropped to 2.35.1 for the theater release.
On EPSON projectors if you go into your keystone menu then select quick corner that’s how you setup quick corner, on HITACHI projectors it’s in the menu and it’s referred to as quick perfect fit on the HITACHI menu.
Shit I just refunded a guy I think he stole the piece that pushed the tape down off of it that's fucked up or swapped the entire internals from mine into his.
Hey, this may seem like a random question, but was there a 37 inch RCA tv released in 2009? If you know the answer, please let me know as I have all of the other 2009 RCA tvs in my collection.
Thanks for the heads up bro, I have one and said the same shit! Kind of sucks or better yet not bad to fuck around with? I bought it at a store 30% off more less paid $75 I think. Which u thought I got a good deal but regret buying it! Now it's just sitting in a closet! Oh well
ya. My buddy got one at a thrift store & they suck ass. Look around, there are 850 lumen LED bulbs available for it. It dumps a ton of light out the side, so an easy mod is to get an LED bulb. Since they have far less heat you can make a reflective tube to place between lamp & the columnator lense to take advantage of the wasted light. (you'll see if you tear it open) Simplest way is to just line a cardboard tube with foil. I have a machine shop so I made one out of metal which encases the bulb.
