I know super duper late, but try to submit a request to Topps QC, normally they require a wrapper and the box but they have also been known to accept videos of boxes being broken and will ship the missing card. You were definitely shorted, those are guaranteed auto
@@coreya5145 yeah I think it was only a few hundred, my brain was not working correctly(probably from hitting this beast of a card). Comps on the actual card, which i have now received, are much more favorable. Will be submitting in a PSA video soon.
The Shohei “base card” at 4:37 is actually the image variation. Nice boxes. I also think you got shorted a hit and may want to reach out to topps. There should be an auto in each box. The boxes I’ve seen that have a base relic also have an auto.
Oh word, that's great to know about the Ohtani, thank you. Yeah I might need to do something about getting shorted, but that relic card is pretty cool.
@@TalksChromeyou can open a claim and just send pics of the cards in your box. Then I think you mail them a copy of the receipt and the serial number from the box. They’ll send you something.
Grabbed a box of Topps RIP this year and told myself I was ripping anything that wasn't Corbin Carroll or Anthony Volpe. I ended up pulling an /25 Corbin Carroll purple color match. The other three cards were, Bellinger, Nolan Jones + some other D level rookie. But I couldn't get myself to rip the Carroll, the other rip cards didn't have anything noteworthy in them, no autos, nothing low numbered. That Carroll has something great in it I'm sure.
My Mom wouldn't let me anywhere near them, and I was jealous of all my friends who had them. Maybe that's why I like them so much now. Thanks for watching!
Cool looking product, but didn't they already release some sort of WBC product at the beginning of the year?? I could be wrong but I swear I remember a WBC set released this year. Anyway, nice rip and cool Ohtani!
