@@janienhung2082 it'd be a bit cramped but but any cabin other than a suite would lol. Plus, it's Icon, you won't be in the cabin that much. Thank you for watching.
I was so sad when Parrot Jungle moved out. It was one of those last Old Florida Tourist spots. I haven't been inside since they changed it, but I'm glad to see they kept the gardens pretty much intact. My family used to have breakfast in the main house and watch the parrots on Sunday mornings.
Kind of odd setup that does not really allow for a very open feeling in the space. Interesting. I liked the bathroom. But it went a bit downhill from there other than the actual balcony
I like southampton, just visited last week as one of the cities we visited from China. I studied there in the University 20 years ago. It is a livable place.
I watch alot of wonder of the sea videos trying to learn all I can about my upcoming cruise trip and u were the only one to mentioned that the desk pull out and there's a charging port on the phone thank u for that
My wife and I travelled to the UK from Australia in October 2023 for a cruise aboard the P&O Arcadia to Norway and back out of Southampton. We stayed in the Pig in the Wall for 2 nights. The first day we did day trips to Winchester and Salisbury, and on day two we did the sights of Southampton. We went to the Titanic museum and had dinner in the Duke of Wellington pub. We loved our short stay in Southampton.
No, ships don't provide that and you can't bring it. Fire hazard. No portable steamers either. You can try Downey wrinkle release spray. Thanks for stopping by.
Great video. One question. Did you notice when you were outside and walking to or from the ship, did you notice if all balconies had adjutable/reclinable chairs?? This is important because some videos show straightback chairs... i need my chair to recline. Thank you!!
70% of Southampton was destroyed by the Nazi's in WW2. Then further destroyed by city town planners in the 1950s onwards. Jane Austen loved living in Southampton and hated Winchester, which Winchester won't mention. The Mayflower memorial was near where you were. It left Southampton before it went to Plymouth, plus the Red Lion pub, was where Henry the V left for his war with the French. If you ever come back, check it out.. I'm proud of my home city, even if the city council isn't.
Wonderful information. I really appreciate it. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Southampton. I had thought about going to nearby places but there was plenty to see an do for my short time there. I hope to sail out of there again in the future. Thank you for your comment and for watching.
Many thanks brought back memories of my childhood. I now live in Adelaide South Australia. Shame you miss the Titanic memorial it was in. Park above Barr.
Hi Josh, I have to politely disagree with you regarding the A/C and opening the veranda door. The A/C does NOT turn off if you have the door unlocked or even open for that matter. I was in 6145 and also 6125. The Millennium class ships do not have that feature to the A/C. Hi from Bob in Connecticut
Not that I could figure out. I tried to pull it out and it didn't budge. I think this cabin is only a double or MAYBE a triple (for a small child to sleep on the sofa). Thank you for watching
ok we are a family of 4. they might configure it to the one where it pulls out. our room is 12650, just close by your room! not sailing till 3/2025. i have two teeanagers (13 y/o)
None, surprisingly. No more than the normal occasional louder person. Nothing in the evenings though I do use a white noise maker when sleeping. Never heard an elevator ding. Thanks for watching
@@JourneywithJosh thanks for the quick response! We are booked later this year on the icon and are looking forward to it! Thanks for the informative video and comment!
This reminds me of the 1989 Radio City Music Hall production. They flew the whole house over the audience it lit up inside with Dorothy and Toto it was one of the most magical things I've ever seen, besides the floor that lit up for the yellow brick road, as a kid I was totally in awe
Hello! How are you? I watched your videos and found them to be quite beautiful. However, if you could put more effort into editing and improving the quality of your videos, it could really help you reach a wider audience. I also analyzed your RU-vid channel and noticed that its SEO score is not very good. It's only 26, but every video needs to have a score of at least 80 to reach a larger audience. So, it might be a good idea to take steps to improve your SEO score. If you don't think that I can be of help to you, that's okay. Just wanted to give you some feedback.
The trouble is cruising with kids they get off in their own little group like a teenage band and you don't know where they are It can be really dangerous now. People aren't like they used to be
I was just touring the cabins. I didn't notice a lot in the brief time I was there but that's not saying much. I wish I could give you better info. I do hope you have a great time. And, thanks for watching.
