Self determination! yes people have the right to self determination but need land, if you have no land how do you people pretend to build a country? Stealing land from others that is not right, your neighbors are friendly and gave you a piece of land so you can build you small country as you want, but please respect your neighbors don't kill their citizens respect the adyacence line stop coming down south, and stop grabbing more land that wasn't giving to you.
The Mayor needs to be honest and stop fetching for words, the drains have been neglected for years while BCC still collecting property taxes. No need to reference a foreign city or state, drains used to be cleaned with far less. The revenues of the Belize City Council need to be used for keeping the city clean and that is not happening. Streets are flooding and taking long to run off, drains are for a reason, must be kept clean.
Belize having legal weed would make it safer for the locals and tourists there. Im a big stoner I spent about a month and a half in Belize. I found many dealers, especially in san pedro,Secret Beach, san ignacio, and placencia at the touristy places. I bought buds that had mold which is extemely unhealthy for the lungs, the dealers also had lots of imported THC carts, and they were super fake, presumably filled with coloring & vitamin E acetate, which is what causes most bubble lung cases. And then in san pedro there was this place that had amazing edibles, but everywhere else the edibles were black market distillate sprayed. Which are disgusting, not potent, & can cause food poisoning. I think it would be super beneficial for the economy and health of people in belize to legalize weed. Its abundant there either way, but it would be much safer.
Another point worth mentioning is one of those guys said in belize city if the dealers had to get a certificate to sell they wouldnt. But I noticed most of the weed dealers also sold coke, when I asked one of the "coconut" dealers in secret beach why she sells it, she said it was because selling fruit and weed wasn't enough money to support her family.
The UDP need to get their act together and have a massive ground game to be able to convince the 21% ...but the UDP cannot win with Shyne Barrow as the leader...we need a more dynamic and future driven leader who cares for the people and not for him or herself...
